Turret shots don’t trigger those counter mechanics, but even with dozens of turrets firing, the invulnerability shield never moves off 0% and won’t break.

So I end up fighting the boss all day until the encounter times out. Does anyone know a way to counter the invul shield pattern?

The boss only deals 1 damage per hit to buildings, so you basically have to use turrets as tanks. Even so, its attack speed is so high that it works out to ~200 DPS, so you need another OP mod to boost building HP. In my case I built turrets with Glitter Tech’s beta material, which pushes their HP into the hundreds of thousands and lets them comfortably soak the boss’s attacks.

But that’s where it ends. I cannot reduce the boss’s HP at all. If I use instant-kill skills from other synthetic-race mods (Littluna, Idearn), the boss just vanishes without dropping rewards; if I try to deal honest damage, my pawns get killed by the boss’s reflect skill with true damage. Even if a pawn survives the true damage, the boss clones the attacker and sends the clone to attack them, so I can’t actually DPS it down.
