@chris Based on archive footage of the Woodhead route, the EM1s on semi-fasts were quite quick, but they were usually producing quite the racket when they hammered through a station. Oddly, BR never really took advantage of the enhanced speed the electrics provided and largely kept steam power on passenger trains-who knows what would have happened if they'd made the change? Anyways, glad you enjoyed-not many scenarios exist for the green Class 76s, so it was good to help fill that hole.

I did manage to make the arrival time at Penistone but it was tight. Hit a high of 63.6 going up the hill and then a sustained 63.3. Yes I did keep to the speed limits and it was touch and go at times. Interesting then heading down hill at 100% throttle which kept my speed at 69.8 mph. Even so tightish on time at Hadfield and maybe slightly heavy on the brakes but all survived. Always think the Pennines look spectacular with a covering of snow in the sunshine. Onto Manchester. Kind Regards. Chris

@pjohnandlyns I was consistently able to get the 76 up to 62 miles per hour on the climb out of Sheffield Victoria. I'm not quite sure why the loco wasn't in your case, but I'm glad you were able to get it working in some form. In the near future I'll be releasing an alternate version using the WHBR model-and some rather more relaxed timings to account for the WHBR model's rather curious physics!

I got scenario to work by reducing the performance % to 85 & refreshing the times.
Could the problem be that the Class 76 has a max speed of only 65 mph so could not get to the max line speed of 70 mph anyway.

Hi HS. I've tried this scenario twice and cannot make the arrival time at Penistone (i don't know how @tonix did it). I notice in the editor that the performance percentage is set at 100%.
The max speed I can get out of the 76 up the long 1:120 rising gradient is around 57 mph (line speed 70) after changing traction mode.
