Releasing an entire submod to accomodate for this would be a bit excessive as it would mean that I would have to release this entire mod twice with only one single file removed or edited. Instead I think it would be much better if the creator of the TWM mod simply changed it so that the Empire factions were 'new' factions that replace the standard Empire factions instead of using the vanilla entries.
Alternatively, you can open my mod locally yourself using RPFM and delete the factions_tables file. Just be aware that this will change the colours of ALL factions in the game back to their (incorrect) vanilla colours.
I just wanted to let you and other players know that even though its a cosmetic mod it's weird that it affects recruitment.
So if other players are experiencing the recruitment problem on not just TWM but on other unit or overhaul mods and like me with 300+ mods didn't expect a mod overhauling flags to cause a recruitment problem, and so this is to let others know to test if this mod is the one causing it.
PS this is not a complaint this is just a "PSA".
Did you comment on the TWM mod's page as well?
cathay, lizardmen, helves, welves, warriors of chaos, daemons, southern realms, nurgle and norsca either overlap slightly or have gaps. obviously warriors of chaos all have different shapes and for southern realms they still use the standard empire frame.
and in my opinion the vanilla brettonia one is just kinda boring.
This faction based on the Brettonian RoR, Holy Wardens of La Maisontaal. The wooden base is because they are wanderers, and the emblem and color scheme represent their unique weapons.
fully compatible then.
Not trying to be a dick here, but this mod ONLY changes faction banners and colours. If there is some sort of clash with a mod that adds factions or characters - and the problem is with that other mod's names and characters not showing up properly - wouldn't that be the other mod's problem?
Do you understand my point? :)
Skaelings become even cooler! Vanaheimlings previous variant was prety, new one fine too.
Wish change for "Khrag" recieve something hungish themed icon instead of dark elves rune.
You are correct that it is slightly generic at the moment. I think my main problem with the other one was that it was slightly "messy" and crude.
Skeggi, Tongs and Kuj all recieved just eight ponted star instead of their simple but stylish icons, when Naglfarlings, Vanaheimlings and Goromadny who switch softly changed Tzeench (Especially Naglfarlings with their twisted wyrm.)
I'll miss old Skaellings banner with their colouration but at the same time new one reference on their tradition with tatto in form of dragons.
Plus new icon for Dreaded Wo?
