I'm currently also struggling with the third zone working on some worlds and sometimes it doesn't. Really weird. Running the correct load order and the compat mod as well

There's one error in IronyModManager, but it's for the Better Planet View req mod, which is also yours:

The third zone sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I've been playing for a few hours and I've managed to build on some planets, but now the option to choose the district doesn't even appear.

Wait i figured out, the scrolling requirement wasnt intuitive!

What load order should i use if im using gigastructural engineering alongside this mod? Im also using your 6 buildings per zone mod, and the compatibility mod

gigastructual engineering seems to disable the 2 extra slots

This appears to be a save file issue. I reproduced the problem on an old archived save and identified through file comparison that only 8 activatable zoneslots existed in that save. The issue was resolved by adding the missing activatable zoneslots.

Further Testing:
The problem does not occur on fresh saves and could not be reproduced in new games.
Will conduct additional playthroughs to verify.

Just pushed another mod update.
Additionally, I’ve created a tool to repair save files, enabling normal zone purchases:

I gave up on this. Went back to using just 2 zones with 10 buildings.

Yea they dont even show up anymore

I'm having the same problem as @Demognomicon
Resubscribing brought it back, but can't buy them.

My extra zones vanished as well, but updated MBS - compatibility brought back. Unfortunately, I am unable to actually purchase/change the added two zones.

Yeah, idk, I've been working on my modlist for hours, and I can't get this mod to work no matter what I do. The weird thing is, I think the extra districts ARE still there, they're just invisible and unable to be interacted with.

Try resubscribing to:
BPV - More Building Slots
BPV - More Building Slots - Compatibility

Steam Workshop might be delayed. Check if the local file's modification date is the latest. At least my tests show no issues.
What other mods do you have installed?

It should be fixed by now. This should be the last change to how the mod operates. Try resubscribing.

Weirdly this mod doesn't seem to work for me either, even though it worked perfectly fine just yesterday...

I added the Better Planet View Compact mode mod, which fixed an issue where the sector controls on the planet menu were missing, but now this mod isn't working, and there are only 2 city zones on every planet now

Having the same issue as mitkopugna. The clickable UI for zones does not seem to extend down to the other two.

Use this mod BPV - More Building Slots - Compatibility

I'm having an issue where the additional zones are not clickable. It appears as though the overlay for the city district itself is preventing this. If I try to click on zones 3 or 4, it just opens up the district window instead. Looks like the same problem as Laura is having below.

it half works with gigas if you put this mod below it but you end up with 3 free specializations so not exactly balanced.

gigastructures created their own custom districts for...some reason. someone should get on compatibalizing them

After a bunch of testing mods I found it to be incompatible with gigastructural engineering. No matter what the load order was

(i didnt have this issue yesterday before all the mods were updated.)

im having an issue of only have 2 zones available. Im also using the 5 buildings per zone sub-mod but the zones are taking the space of 10 buildings for some reason. dont know if thats related. ive force updated all related mods and i dont have any conflicts shown with irony mod manager.

Im playing with your mods, all the mods and submods we are using are working except this one which works partiatially. The only empires that have 4 zones are hiveminds, the rest are stuck on 2 zones

is there a way to force a mod to check for an update? I'm running into the same issue of only 2 zones

Your mod is outdated — try resubscribing to it. Alternatively, you might have obsolete mods installed, including ones like *Better Planet View - More Building Slots 10/4*.

This mod only enables/disables its slots (no direct modification of the specialization system).
BPV - More Building Slots disables 2 slots by default. While this mod attempts to re-enable them, the conflict might indicate a temporary failure in this mod’s functionality.
