This kind of is like that Concept Common Hunter thing where the Hunter looked more like a Common Infected to blend in more and I think this is perfect imagine playing Versus in like a Community Server with this you could seriously just pretend to be a Common to get the drop on the Survivor's

it could be the phongmask of the normal assuming you've got one, or just the normal, you could try painting over the seams, or re-uv the mesh, so the seams are in spots where there are usually no seams, and then bake the normal / phongmask to the new uv you made, paint over it all, and bake it back to the original uv.
