so for some reason after entering the commands the game just kinda broke, the flashlight meter wasnt there and it was mixed with the aux power like normal but it would never recharge either, so when it ran out i couldnt sprint or turn on the flashlight and even after disabling it the aux meter was still screwed up

I tried this and a number of glitches happened:

The positions of certain textures used to make it seem like you are within a city are glitched so you see only the sky box instead of a sprawling city (before the first ant-lion sighting)

and then when Alyx saved Gorden from the metrocops when he comes to the camera is stuck and I couldn't move Gorden, also the camera is in a glitched position facing a metrocop by the elevator.

I decided to not continue this futher.

@YahBoiFabio oh my lord thank you i was genuinely so confused as to why alyx wasnt moving and was constantly yelling "WHERE ARE YOU?!??!?!"

in episode one Alyx thinks she left alone in the dark (even above ground in direct intervention, Urban Flight and on) if the flashlight isnt on and wont follow, not a huge issue but was very confusing to figure out. not sure why this is the case

btw if you run hl2 maps on hl2 ep2 the standalone flashlight will appear so this mod is not really neccessary

I guess I'm going to play with infinite flashlight because Dynamic Fire Glow breaks other parts of the game so it's not worth the trade off.

same bug as Vortex. This makes some puzzles impossible to solve. Just going to remove this mod. Game works fine with it's original setting anyways

I'm encountering a bug where both flashlight meters appear in Ep1, and the original doesn't recharge because of it, so I can't sprint or breath underwater for as long as I would need to.

Seems there's a bug with this add-on where it makes HL2 + Episode 1 think they're Episode 2 achievement-wise. Might want to look into the issue in case any new players might want to use this because they hate how the Flashlight is linked with the HEV's Auxiliary Power.

There's a bug on the HL2 menu name turns to HL2 Ep2 AND for the ep1, it didnt work.

I tested out having every single mod besides this and Script Multiloader disabled and there's definitely a bug! Base HL2 had the infinite flashlight independent of AUX power, but Ep1's flashlight was still reliant and even drained AUX power.
Changing load order, verifying game file integrity, and shutting off the game didn't fix this glitch.

Is anyone else getting this strange glitch where the separate flashlight icon doesn't appear for Episode 1? It works perfectly fine for base HL2, but in Ep1 it appears in the AUX power without taking away power. If you sprint or use up oxygen and the flashlight remains on, the AUX power won't recharge until it's turned off.

There's a compact HUD that should work just fine with this since the compact HUD works fine for the main game and the episodes.

I'm not sure this can be fixed. This addon changes CVar "hl2_expansion" which is need for this mod to work properly.

For some reason, with the mod the title of the Half Life ep2 game appears and not that of Half Life 2. Can you fix it please?

Supposedly it's dynamic fire mod. It spawns special entity which is used to make ally NPCs to see because EP1 tunnel darkness behavior which enables dynamic light on burning objects also makes them blind unless this entity spawns. Sometimes script doesn't loads properly on map transitions or loading saves and this can be fixed by making a save and then loading it. I'll improve loading method to try to fix this issue.

Hi there, I love your addons and thank you for what you do. I just thought I'd let you know that either this script or the 'dynamic fire glow' is causing issues for me with NPC's refusing to move. I'm currently playing through Half-Life 2 and Barney stopped moving in the map 'd1_c17_10a', which meant in the following map '10b' I can't progress as he needs to be there to open the combine door. I also had an issue in map with Alyx a few days ago. I'm not sure if this is a bug with one of your addons or it's a bug with HL2. The only addons I have enabled is 'Script Multiloader', 'Dynamic Fire Glow', 'Standalone Flashlight', 'Jiggly Hand Fix' and 'Episodic Citadel'. Do you know what could be causing this if it is one of your addons? Thanks.

Alright, I think I downloaded it during the strider standoff at the Nexus, I've already uninstalled the required mods, I'm hoping that and using an older save will help.

Ok, for some strange reason, after I've uninstalled this, my aux power always says my flashlight is on, but, I can't use my flashlight anymore. I think my game is bugged.
