Can you also take a look at the auto modding trait bug that won't allow different auto modding traits to stack? The devs listed this problem as 'fixed', but those traits still aren't stacking.

I spent some time trying to figure out the scourge bug and didn’t make any progress, but it sounds like it will be fixed in the next patch.

@Realhollow I just went to check and while it seems as though the Necrophage issue has been fixed, nothing has been done with regards to slavery or general pop assignment to jobs based on their suitability for them.

I don't know if this bug is within the realm of fixing in this mod, but no one else has a fix for it yet so I'll mention it: Currently, slaves are automatically assigned to civilian roles if possible, and job selection totally ignores pop efficiency at that job. If you can catch the source of this, it'd be big.

Just tested a new campaign and the popups are gone. Curious how you and Ariphaos are co-ordinating. "who goes first?" :steamhappy:

I don't understand, OMG. I first did what Ater Rose said. It didn't work. I then deleted the whole file; that didn't work either. I then disabled the whole mod, and that also didn't work. I'm so confused as to what is causing these annoying pop-ups.

@aterroseum, did you use a debug tool to check what was causing it? If so, what did you use?

oh whew at least we found the blank popup cause. Man, i swear paradox loves to release stuff then just when we think they are done with patching BLAM they hit us again and messes tons of mods up.

This and "MEM" are the causes/conflicts with 4.0.15 (and the .16 open beta).
bisected my mod list down to this mod. Running alone it causes the issue on an otherwise vanilla game, and with mods, same issue. I don't use the MEM mod, but they are reporting the exact same problem.

2 blank pop ups per day. The cause is the "machine_age_crisis_events.txt" file within the events folder. The 2 events are consistently revolving around "crisis.21140" and "crisis.21135".

Fun fact, if you just accept this coming in constantly, turn auto-pause off, and keep playing then reload later. That reload will bring back every single popup that had occurred even if you dismissed them all previously.... why did I do this to my self, too stubborn to go figure out why this was happening 30 in-game years ago lmao.

Anyways, Paradox changed the syntax for adding traits to a leader which is bugging out the events. Apostate diplomacy id crisis.21125 specifically causes the chaos and if you use the new syntax in the new copy of the vanilla file for the 6 traits, it stops the non-stop pop-ups. Note you will need to do this to crisis.21140 as well for 1 trait.

Yeah, this mod is bugged right now, if it's enabled it creates blank pop-ups every ingame day no matter what.

Can confirm this mod is currently displaying unlimited blank Event popups. I'm unsure if this is a modded conflict of some kind as Lichlord claimed it was ACOT which I am not using. I had this mod at the very top of the list with no success, it's currently making the game unplayable.

Is the current slavery issues considered a bug? All my slaves are turned into civilians on my planets and my decadent specialist/ruler focused founding species does all the jobs. I even used pleasure seekers so that any unemployed pops of my main race were still "happy".
