@Alexander.Scott Does it reduce the total number of Polish generals? Which generals are you missing? Aren't you running any other mods?

I did notice that I made a mistake with the coding of 3 new Polish generals (which I'm working to fix), but still that shouldn't be reducing the total number of Polish generals initially available.
msukhets 15 Sep @ 4:06am
@Alexander.Scott What do you mean? What generals do you not have?
Alexander.Scott 14 Sep @ 7:14pm
This mod actually reduces the number of available polish generals. How did that happen?
msukhets 14 Sep @ 8:23am
Yes, it's really sad, but there's nothing to be done.
ArtMocha  [author] 13 Sep @ 2:27pm
@msukhets Not much to be honest. This mod has gotten way more content than I expected.

Next updates will probably be more focused on keeping it functional rather than adding more content. I don't plan on abandoning it, but I just find it difficult now to justify spending so much time making portraits.

Having said that, I did record the video about advisor portraits. Currently editing it. Not sure when it will be posted though.
msukhets 12 Sep @ 7:54am
Hello, I wanted to know from you what you are planning to release next in the future, I'm just curious.
msukhets 7 Sep @ 7:14am
Very good, otherwise I really don’t know how to make advisers out of my portraits
ArtMocha  [author] 7 Sep @ 6:59am
@msukhets I've been thinking about doing it. But then i remembered there are some pretty good tutorials about full-sized portraits, like the ones from Limonny, PoorBananaMan27 and ThatHOI4PortraitGuy.

So i thought about making a tutorial for advisor portraits instead, since that's often overlooked by modders, can be done quite easily and is uses a lot of the same ideas that I apply in my full-sized portraits. I have the script of it done, so it's very likely I'll do it and post on Youtube, Reddit and Steam.
msukhets 7 Sep @ 12:21am
Could you make a tutorial video?
ArtMocha  [author] 6 Sep @ 2:56pm
@Captain Groovy ツ I use GIMP for most of the process and Stable Diffusion for enhancing/upscaling bad quality pictures.
Captain Groovy ツ 6 Sep @ 2:00pm
What software do you use to make the portraits ?
msukhets 4 Sep @ 4:31am
Thanks now it works:steamthumbsup:
ArtMocha  [author] 3 Sep @ 10:59am

@Fanatyk_Karotki I think that Albanian officers should be balanced at the level of Italian ones.
Fanatyk_Karotki 17 Aug @ 2:17pm
Good job with Albania. Personally, I'd give less considering the country's importance. But good job.
Fanatyk_Karotki 17 Aug @ 2:16pm
@msukhets Not really. Mainly in the case of smaller countries with poorly described generalizations, like Belgium, the Netherlands, etc. I don't like their way of writing surnames first. It makes copying difficult. Plus, they write bare facts like positions, promotions, and assignments. It's useless when creating skills and adding traits. I generally advise against it. Asking questions in the GPT chat is a better option. However, I use Wikipedia to compile officer lists and available literature to determine skills.
msukhets 17 Aug @ 6:55am
@Fanatyk_Karotki And I must admit I am very impressed with you. Do you use generals.dk?
msukhets 17 Aug @ 6:53am
@Fanatyk_Karotki How do you feel about the US creator adding Adna Romanz Chaffee Jr.?

ArtMocha  [author] 17 Aug @ 5:50am
I'll be adding a few more Greek generals for the history path. Probably 2-3 new generals in the next update.

I won't make commanders for Croatia nor Slovenia. Once again, making content for releasables just seems quite pointless given how players normally don't play them.

Here are the Greek Generals under Metaxism available for the war with Italy and Germany in 1940:
1. Georgios Tsolakoglou
2. Georgios Kosmas
3. Konstantinos Davakis
4. Georgios Stanotas
5. Vasileios Vrachnos

For user @Gardist
Fanatyk_Karotki 16 Aug @ 5:06am
@msukhets I'll be honest. I've created a list of over 400 German generals in the Wehrmacht alone for my own use. Based on my research and beliefs, this is a list of the 400 most important Wehrmacht officers who were promoted to the ranks of general and marshal at various stages of the war. And yes, the general you mentioned was promoted during the war. It's a shame I don't have him on the list. The problem, however, is that 400 generals likely didn't make a mock-up for a single faction. And the 20 generals I listed are the absolute TOP German generals of World War II. In fact, each of them should have been included in the 2016 vanilla Hearts of Iron game. We should have gotten each of them in the Germany DLC from a year ago.
Fanatyk_Karotki 16 Aug @ 5:06am
I honestly admit it, because I don't understand why this particular general, Johannes Haarde, would be added when commanders of Army Groups, Armies, Corps, or Kampfgruppes are already in the queue. We have a section commander here, of course, but he's a commander without any significant achievements. Not without the right to be part of some game. But we must understand proportion. Being a division commander in the Wehrmacht or the Red Army does not confer the same position as in the British or American armies. The number of divisions matters here. Some armies have more corps than others, divisions and brigades.
msukhets 16 Aug @ 3:51am
@Gardist I would say that Greece is lucky that it has one field marshal, since Hungary, for example, does not have any, but they have plenty of generals.
Gardist 16 Aug @ 3:47am
@msukhets
yes, you can get more if you go venezelist althistory. (greater greece, byzantium and communist greece)
But I am talking about the historical path (Metaxism) and the monarchist path. Those two paths only have 2 generals and 1 field marshal and you can't get new ones.
msukhets 16 Aug @ 2:21am
@Gardist I agree with you. Although we can open them by focus, there are few of them.
Gardist 16 Aug @ 2:13am
I would like to suggest that greek generals are added. If you go historical Greece, they are stuck with only 2 generals and 1 field marshal
msukhets 16 Aug @ 2:07am
@Fanatyk_Karotki Johannes Haarde?
Fanatyk_Karotki 15 Aug @ 5:24pm
I haven't suggested German generals so far. Mocha and I privately messaged about the AFG mod, suggesting it might be implemented, but it has a slightly different graphical style than the mod's creator. I think that if we start listing German generals, we can even include 300, not specifically. I would like to propose a maximum of 20 such basic ones:
1. Walther von Brauchitsch
2. Walter von Reichenau
3. Ernst Busch
4. Ferdinand Schörner
5. Walther Wenck
6. Helmuth Weidling
7. Wilhelm Bittirich
8. Erich Hoepner
9. Hermann Balck
10. Heinrich von Vietinghoff
11. Rudolf Schmidt
12. Friedrich Dollmann
13. Eugen Ritter von Schobert
14. Hans-Jürgen von Arnim
15. Nikolaus von Falkenhorst
16. Eduard Dietl
17. Fridolin von Senger und Etterlin
18. Kurt Zeitzler
19. Franz Halder
20. Dietrich von Saucken

However, everyone should be available in the discussed mod. From what I remember, only Zeitzler & von Senger were not included.
