Bad news. It involves cutting out the hill the Cactus House generates on.
The guide does indeed seem to frequently not spawn in when starting a new world. Additionally, broken copies of the cactus house can be found on these worlds. Sometimes however, worlds will generate as intended and the Guide will spawn in as well. There seems to be a correlation, but I don't know the cause.
Oh yeah; there is actually an update for the mod in the works. It's just slow as it involves some spriting, and I am busy with college and my job.
this is the modpack the mod glitched out on, not sure why though because literally everything else from the mod worked perfectly (including the sleeping boss)
Maybe u could add a "Graboid" or Mongolian Death Worm looking miniboss?
A Giant Egyptian Cobra would also be sick
@Unbreakabro: I probably won't make it a hardmode upgrade, given what the hardmode Desert has already. I do intend to add to the Desert in hardmode, but not in that way. As for spawnrates, the Cactus Slime has a decently high spawnrate in new worlds, but that spawnrate drops dramatically once defeated. It only has a couple basic drops, so I felt having it continuously spawn in frequently would be annoying.
Also out of curiosity what is the spawn rate for this guy? I've only seen him once but luckily it was early on so it was fun and well paced.
