most of us know the reference but that doesnt mean it looks good in this context, tf2s style is very different, and reference cosmetics work best when they still look good even to people who dont know the reference

This is a cool looking cosmetic, but i wonder is this compatible with the chaser?

Honestly I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's a Popeye Reference, do people just forget how massive the man's arms are? It's not like it's going to cause gameplay issues either because who the fuck aims for the arms?

Me personally, I really dig this and hope it gets added

This cosmetic has two styles (props for the extra effort!), one is excelent and deserves to be added this one is terrible (see comments below) and hope it never does.

Those arms look so nasty. Keep this shit out of TF2
cinister 2 May @ 9:05am
Astoundingly bad
MANDY 2 May @ 6:03am
I get that it's Popeye, but the forearms being larger than upper arms is just so ugly.

His hands look like bread. I hope he doesn't step into the Teleporter.
(Also I understand the limitations, I just wanted to joke).
Trumpet Player 1 May @ 4:35pm
While his arms may be big, it works since it's a popeye reference. Besides, there's a second style if you guys aren't too fond of the oversized forearms.
Woshee 1 May @ 3:33pm
honestly with this being a big Popeye reference, I can give the BIG muscular hands a pass.

As Someone Who does look a lot into the workshop a lot and don't mind the concepts of many cosmetics I will be honest the limitations of the soldier coat really do hurt the concept, With the pathfinder there was a workaround with it to make it pretty decent looking but its pretty hard to make complete bare arms match up perfectly with the hands without Valve giving us some giant Bodygroup update for all the mercs with coats covering there arms (which is unfortunately unlikely)

I like the Concept of it being Popeye and all but The Limitations do sadly make this look odd, But I do like the rest of the set and the alternative style to this coat.

I hope my Comment wasn't too harsh or anything.

Thanks for explaining this Mr.Poopy Pants

Jesus Christ the clipping on this is insane. The Elephant Man sized arms. people really need to stop trying to expose the arms or legs of the mercs cus there is no way to properly do it cus you have to wrap it around the whole model so it becomes a giant disgusting wall of flesh.

And i get it your trying to be popeye but that DOSE NOT MEAN you have to replicate the body structure!
