Would it be possible for you to put those animations on L4D1 pump shotgun? There is a model on Arby's anims wandering somewhere on Gamemaps, and, well, look at pump shotgun, look at chrome shotgun… They are just f♥cking the same in L4D2, having differences only in colors and sights which aren't even used in game.

Nope, it's unedited. From what I've seen, the reflections are just a lot more apparent on the map I was on.

Do you have any custom textures or anything to make the shotguns look so good on the video? You can slightly see a reflection and it looks much better that what I have ingame

Can't say I like this one. The firing anims look like there isn't any recoil to be felt.

For now, I'm sticking with Arby26's old pump anims.

i don´t know how you are image how the weapons are holded from the survivers, but you place them to much in the middle or you show to much of the gun site. it looks for me everytime like they want to look at the gun instat of aiming where you shoot.

I tried reducing the time of the fire animation and tested it offline, but it just stayed frozen when it was done until the original time was done.This basically means it's already the exact time it needs to be.

If it the anims are causing a slowdown, it should only appear offline. How long does the normal fire take?

That's just placebo. The animations don't effect gameplay at all, except for maybe keeping the flashlight in the center of the screen unlike a lot of other animations.

The tilting was inspired from what I remember of Far Cry 3's shotgun anims.

This looks like Arby Animations ( due to how the character tilts the gun when cocking it).

The trick to the running anim is that you don't have to keep your origin/rest pose. I made it start when it was completely on the left, not too close to the original origin.

There is an odd pause during the reload animation. As you load the first shell the animation pauses for a second and then resumes normally. At higher FOV's you can see you don't pull the trigger when you fire the gun. Also the finger is not on the trigger for the chrome shotgun. Other than these small issues the animations look great.
