here's an idea for mutated terror:there could be some "bosses" during the game like giant chargers with different colors and abilities (you could use the ones you already made in the mutated series) and they could have like, 30 thousand hp

If I'm not mistaken, by the same person, "skysky199", his Witch Assault mod forces Wandering Witches to attack a random survivor. Witch Assault works by forcing a Witch to be startled as soon as she spawns, and it works with both types of Witches. It doesn't seem to be distance related either from testing, she attacked everyone, including bots. Maybe you could take a look and have an idea on how to recreate that system for yourself.

Ohh I see. Yeah the Wandering Witch is a mess. She doesn't even work well with manacat's improved AI. When she's meant to be restartled because she gets shot, she goes back to crying, but there's no problems with the sitting witch. I really dislike the Wandering Witch. She ignores bots shooting her too.

@♥Legoshi♥ , the burning effect is actually to give equality/ fairness to survivors. Previously, I ever tested without burning the wandering witch, & as bots are ignored when shooting the wandering witch, only survivor players became the target when she's angry. So, it became unfair to survivor players, like, bots walked past her & disturbed her, but once her period anger was triggered, she chased a random survivor player (if you're the only player, there's 100% chance you'd be chased). With burning witch, that gives fairness in target randomization, as bots can still trigger her.
Btw, what I'm looking for is not how to disable witch startle animation, to quicken the anger interval when period anger is triggered. The sitting witch works well, but the wandering witch doesn't, even with same methods. But I'll try to check skysky's mod about witch.

I agree with that guy, her burning when attacking bots is a bit weird but sides that I kinda like this. You could add the "Disable Witch Startle Animation" by skysky199 as a required item if you want the Wandering Witch to skip that annoying animation.

@слюнявый пиздaлиз , only the wandering witch goes on fire when angered. This is to compensate the less aggressiveness of the wandering witch, as compared to the sitting witch, she won't be angry unless a survivor touches her or stays close to her for way too long time, so I had to burn her to anger her immediately to make her as aggressive as the sitting witch.
Did you face a problem on that witch?
please can you make a version without witch going on fire when angered

Legoshi , I added "period_anger_radius" feature to control the anger radius in case if you want to do some balancing based on your own preferences. & now sitting & wandering witches have different traits. You can check on the description above.

@Legoshi , if she starts to growl in anger, it means that the special countdown starts. You need either to pass through her or leave her as soon as possible to escape her period anger range. Once the time's up, she won't continuously get up but she'll immediately chase one random survivor caught in her anger range. For example, if the "period_interval" is set to 6, you have 6 seconds to leave her anger range, & then wait for the next 5 seconds before the countdown is reset (the countdown reset timer is always 5 seconds after "period_interval" is finished.
I plan to slightly differentiate the mechanisms between sitting & wandering witches, later on the next update, so the sitting witch will stand up first before chasing.

Interesting, does she continously get up if you enter her anger range, even if you exit it? That could act like a sort of SCP-096 script that will eventually get angry and enter chase mode.

@Sieg Rem , yes, but depending on the value set on "period_interval", this one may act earlier or later than that mod. For examples, if you set the value to 2 (2 seconds) while that mod takes more than 2 seconds to anger the witch, then this mod will be executed first & the witch will be angry. & if you set the value to 5 while that mod takes less than 5 seconds to anger the witch, then witch's anger follows that mod first.
