@Byzantine Biscuit It's something along those lines! Not any more with this mod thankfully though
@TurtleShroom Yeah it's quite a big mod - it's because of the packed audio files that are being replaced. There's maybe a more space efficient way to do it but I'm not sure how I'd go about that.
@Wildman John Can you tell me under what circumstances you hear it? It's possible that I missed one of the audio files (the offending audio is contained in multiple files) so that would help narrow it down. I tested it myself during feasts and tournaments and it's gone for me there.
@void If you haven't heard it before then you're lucky. When you hear it once you'll never be able to unhear it.
@_Tox I'll be honest, it's a bit outside of the scope of this mod. If there is enough demand for it I'll look into it but it's not something I've personally noticed. Also, one of the issues is that I have to replace the files with something of exactly the same length as the original file which is being removed. I could replace those sounds with silence but then other people might like or be indifferent to those sounds. If I was to do a sound overhaul then it would have to be a different mod I think.
My personal pet peeve voice is the baby gurgle/cry type sound that loops anytime a child event pops up.
Another annoying sound if you would consider killing: If you zoom out all the way, you can hear footsteps of people walking around behind you. This drives me insane as I often catch myself pulling my headphones off thinking there's someone behind me. I believe it falls under "Ambience" sounds as it goes away when I cull that slider. But I like most ambience, the wind and sea effects fit very nicely as you zoom in and out.. And when you zoom into like Temple areas you can hear chants. Tis very nice. But the random footsteps behind my left ear i find distracting.
You have no idea how long I've been searching for a mod precisely like yours!
Many thanks to you @Moireach
@mrovereasy Should be both ironman and achievement compatible
