This mod needs a massive overhaul of the mission tree. I still like the mod he missons are exactly the same.

Idk is it a bug or i am unlucky that when i play as crownlands and i get desicion to choose who shall wear the crown? and i click regent like i always get wolf is in chain or smth like that

The framework this offers is stunning, even in this early stage. The UI work and system alterations are top notch and the mod is of a great quality. The biggest thing I feel this needs right now is more nations! Splitting up the main Kingdoms (Reach, North, Westerlands etc) into the various minor lordships would add so much flavor and depth, as well as interactive focus trees with each group. Maybe there's a Lannister-sided Frey focus tree, a Stark Loyalist Frey focus tree, a Neutral "Fuck the Kings" Frey focus tree... And that kind of depth could fit in nearly any major house. I would play the hell out of that! You have serious potential here.

I played the other, i guess more popular Game of Thrones mod, but this one is way better in my opinion.

@Uggbug 500 is too small, though. The Reach can muster roughly 100,000 fighting men at any given time, so it stands to reason you should have that ability from the beginning, and it would be odd to start the game with 200 divisions. All it needs is a hard cap to how many soldiers a given faction can muster that isn't dependent on Manpower (Similar to peacetime demobilisation or division limiters in other mods.)

This mod has so SO SO SO SO much potential. still needs some ironing out. (the date the combat system, etc.) Armies are seriously unrealistically large for the GOT universe and a medieval universe in general. In the HOI4 mod Old World Blues, a division at max can be 500 soldiers. That is way more viable and realistic for a medieval army. A division of 10k is not a division. That's an entire medieval army. I've already said most of this before, but I really want to see this mod become something great. Another problem I have with this mod is the huge and unrealistic populations of the world. lorewise westeros is estimated to have about the same population as medieval Europe of our world. (50 million to 70 million)

Havent played much of the mod, but so far it needs more factories, the reach has like 5 starting factiores but the crownlands around 20 which is weird lore wise. Also when u start with an army of 700k fielded men u need more than 4 mils by the time war starts. What i end up doing is deleting 70% of the starting army which is a bit sad. I read that ur already working on specific focus trees for nation which is very good, i think that will make the mod 10x more fun. Also having acess to 6 poltical advisors all with insane buffs is a bit overkill. mby make it 3 and have charachters in the books or series. Like house lannister havign acsess to tyron that gives some cool and interesting buff, that only nation has access to Anyways love the work and the mod is still new so good luck on making it complete, hope this mod becomes a banger soon cuz i think it will be.

@Krypt, yes thats planned :), probably will lump the Targaryens, Valyria and Mantarys into a single dragonlord themed update.

@Jackass (HUN) unique focus trees for the westeros countries and some interesting essos ones are planned after I finish covering all 8 seasons worth of events. Keep in mind this is only 6 weeks worth of work, im a 1 man team lol. The only reason I released this early is to show the possibilities, some will like it, some won't.

Unfortunately, I don't think this mode is as enjoyable as Game of Thrones, but the gray focus tree base is semi-special. I hope it will expand a bit over time. I'm sorry that there is no creativity in the mod with the pictures created with the AI. It's too boring for me.

and i think division sizes in the 100s like OWB and the AVATAR mod would fit the medieval setting more.

well, most fan estimates of the pop put westeros at it's lowest at 50 or so million people and at max 80 million at its highest estimate. that seems pretty reasonable.

@uggbug, Population and army sizes have been x10, to better fit hoi4, if not the AI wouldnt be able to man the frontlines. So an army of 20,000 men in the lore would be an army of 200,000 in the game.

@uggbug, I havent changed the date cause I wanna use this mod as a base to make one for Aegon's Conquest, and another one for House of the Dragon. If I changed the date in the code, and then do those it would be a messy affair. Perhaps there might be a way to change the date cosmetically only, but not in the code.

armies are also unrealistically big. the north having 300,000+ soldiers is absolutely impossible. in the show and books they were able to raise a total of 45,000 or so soldiers.

look's amazing but please fix the date. it should be 299 or so A.C, also the populations seem unrealisticly large.

@Kix, its best to play as any Westeros country for now, as only season 1 and season 2 have been covered, Targs didn't do anything interesting in those 2 seasons. Plan is to cover all 8 seasons, then start adding custom trees 1 country at a time, based on community vote.

Are the Targaryens playable yet? Dont get Unsullied and Astapor or Mereen.
