That's awesome you're back dude. Personally I've found myself suffering from Zomboid Burnout, and turning to other games here, and there. I used to do alot of RP on this game but I'm not sure about alot servers if they fit the playstyle I enjoy. Anyway I got like about 3000 hours on this game, so I think you can understand the burnout but I will come by occasionally to suggest new facial hair, and whatnot.

I’m doing good honestly. Just fell out of Zomboid, played other games, so for a time so updates on suggestions slowed down (they stopped if we’re being honest.)

I’m gonna get around to everyone’s suggestions, I had a good long break so now it’s time to give everyone their beards like I promised :)

I’ll try but sideburns are pretty difficult. I’ve tried with another request, but the hair and beard models overlay in an extremely weird way. You can kinda notice in-game that the beard models never actually intersect.
There’s no guarantees I can do it (while having it look nice), but I’ll try an idea that might work.

Could you make a version of the patchy goat without the goat and instead just use the mustache model? I like how square, and sharp it is. Reminds me of my own stache irl.

@SuperFlex I actually have no idea if I can do that. The textures for all hair and beard models is already white, and the game itself adds the colours onto it. It's the same process for some clothing too, but unlike clothing Hairstyles and Beards aren't given exceptions.

For now though, I don't think it's possible unless IndieStone decides to change how hair and beard colours work.

@Roddo I'm working on a more faithful rendition of your request (Working name is "Hatchet Lad") but I'm having issues with the model loading in game. I'm gonna have to redo the entire model, so expect it either later today or tomorrow.

@paul_walker Sorry, but I've been toying with Sideburns and they look pretty janky when they're not already modeled into hair (like Spongie's Hair mod)

I still have the code and model though, so if you'd like I could include it as an optional mod with a disclaimer.

@Reconspiracy I could add that, sure! I got a nice little backlog now with the other suggestions so it should come out with the rest of them either tomorrow or the day after. (I went on a bit of a break cause i got sucked into Oblivion)

Also I never really considered it western themed, just vanilla looking styles. Looking at them all lined up tho... :p it does look alot like that

a long, trimmed stache like this [media.gq.com] would be cool, though i admit it wouldn't quite fit the "western" style you're going for. incredible mod, by the way! this looks extremely vanilla and i love it. :)

@Garfield thanks so much!! This mod is actually one of my favorites for B42. I've been up all night playing with my character and his lumberjack beard for a while now, lol. I hope you can continue expanding your excellent mod and, if you're up for it, add hairstyles at some point (I have a few in mind hehe)

@Garfield It's incredible. The beard is fantastic. I can't say anything more than that, it's fantastic!! Although if it's not too much to ask, would it also be possible to add a faithful version of the one I mentioned? So it varies from time to time, lol. An additional question, what hairstyle is the one in the second image?

@Silas Thank you! Its the first time I ever tried making my own mod in a game, so I’m trying my best to make it look nice.

The necktie is actually vanilla, I don’t know where it spawns naturally, but if you check All Clothes Unlocked in Sandbox you can find it.

Thats a good idea actually. Love giving my fallout protags beards, and they definitely got cool options.

Glad to see that stache, looks awesome. For any more ideas man, I recommend looking at Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4 for some ideas at other facial hairs.
