There. This update has some experimental changes to decouple VBE from the mod. From my basic testing it works fine and doesn't sacrifice anything, there might be issues discovered down the line so using VBE with it is more tested.

It's a bit of a tall order, would require a bit of restructuring for the mod to make it work. I'll consider it but im not promising I can.

As for the problem, very strange, I don't know where my head was. I wrote out all the changes but forgot to actually link the crafting recipes to the building, so it was all there and ready to go, just not attached to the building :steamfacepalm:

Should be fixed now. Steam can be slow to update so if its not downloading, unsub from the mod, wait a few minutes then redownload it, should force the update.

Should automatically load it. However, they axed the old alcohol system in VEF and had people instead use some new piping system. So let me check that the 1.6 port is playing as expected with that.

Hi Hei. I love this mod to death, but any ideas on how to get my pawns to use the khukhuurs? They just leave them alone. I have Brewing researched and I have the Better Brewing mod installed.

I found the culprit, i had a fix for another mod and it didn't had the old version as a requeriment, so i assumed i had it and didn't suspect it since it just a furniture mod. Thanks for the help, it helped me narrow down the culprit.

strange, since i have like 3 mods that are not for 1.5 and they don't add almost anything (the frostpunk generator was added later) the weirdest thing is that i managed to get to the pawn selection screen before, but as i removed non-1.6 mods, the problems got even worse.

Nothing stands out as immediately problematic. What exactly is your problem? Does the game crash, load forever, or another issue. Also if you have any errors in your console log please share.

It's launching fine on my end. It seems likely that this and another mod in your list are not playing nice, if there are any errors I might be able to sus it out, but otherwise there isn't anything I can do.

it has problems with 1.6 and vanilla framework for some reason, i cant start a game at all if i have this mod installed. (which is sad since i really wanted to make a frostpunk nomad playtrough)

Disappearing walls are not something I can comment on but I imagine you could get a similar thing to your desire using tent walls and the blue prints mod.

Blueprint yurts, install/uninstall them as you move

Nomad used to be a tough playstyle but I think mods like Simple Warrants and set up camp make it a lot more fun to play, lots of this mod were designed for a nomadic bounty hunter playthrough I did with them.

I am working on armor in my spare time but for another week or so that time is pretty limited, I am intended to flesh this mod out with a decent set of gear and a faction for it, though.

This is really cool, I would love to see you expand upon this with more step themed stuff, this is such a cool idea and not enough love is given to these nomads in rimworld. Would be cool to see more furniture and maybe even an ideology style included

@Akiu ill take a look, inconsistent naming *might* be intended but since I havent viewed it I wont say for sure, Rimworld does sometimes swap the short and long names around so its not unheard of style wise, and ill fix the unclosed error too.

Unclosed Tag:
In the description for woodSculpter, there seems to be an unclosed [PAWN_possessive].
Inconsistent Naming:
The titleShort field for nomadCrafter might need updating to match its full title.

I appreciate the offer to help incorporate mod, i'm really not looking to hook that mod into my work though, I'd rather the package be consistent in style, im fine with patches that add other mods gear, but their art style is noticeably different then mine. Thats not even touching on the permissions of working with other peoples work, as not every modder takes my "Do whatever you want with my work" stance.

That being said there is much more enthusiasm with this work then I thought there would be, so I will redouble my efforts when I finish my semesters finals and flesh this mod out.

I took the Steppe Pill in 2007 AD as a child, and have been into that stuff ever since. I'd love to work on this Mod with you. How about you make a Github repository? I can incorporate the Mod I linked while you do what you love. Our combined efforts will be GLORIOUS!

Generally speaking the reason I wouldn't incorporate much, I like making the stuff mostly myself. I take it as an excuse to learn more about the culture i'm working on as I create it, but I will at least check the mod out for ideas.
