Thanks for this mod. It is really nice to not have to worry about getting stuck on a follower which has happened a couple of times to me now.

This wasn't working for me earlier.
But for kicks I moved your mod to the second to last spot in my load order and now it works.

@KWright122 - seems like maybe mod order matters if you have something conflicting.

There is another mod that is supposed to do this. It is Improved Thralls and QoL. There is a checkbox in the admin settings under Follower-Related for this but it never worked for me.

I wonder if the other one would work if it changed the load order of it too.

mix getclose mod and your mod to avoid 2 problems that fucom will surely never fix, I can now explore with more than 2 thralls without anything blocking me, I hope the workshop releases more for mods like this <3

no modorder needed, it works only for following thralls, not for all other ones

@Frission Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad to hear it's working again, though I’m honestly not sure what could’ve caused the temporary hiccup—I'm drawing a blank on that one! 😅

You’re not the first to suggest expanding the mod to cover all player-owned thralls around the base, especially with mods like Thralls Are Alive making them wander so much. It’s a cool idea, and I might consider adding a toggle for it in the future, but I can’t make any promises just yet. If I do go that route, it’d likely mean a wave of updates to iron out the inevitable bugs, and right now things are pretty stable, which is nice for everyone. 😊

Thanks again for the input, and I’ll keep this in mind for potential future updates!

Neeeeevermind, it's working again. Hmm. Chalk it up to random game weirdness I guess.

BTW would be awesome if this could be expanded to all player-owned thralls standing around in my base, especially since Thralls Are Alive has them wandering so much. xD

@Deadlayn Thank you for your work on this! I apologize for misunderstanding the intent of the mod; I thought it was supposed to disable conflict with all of my thralls, not just followers. I confused the terms. This would mean no getting trapped in the scrum when defending a base.

I’ve realized the mistake I made, which caused the issue for you and others.
From now on, I won’t try to bypass the system if the devKit restricts me from uploading :)

You were absolutely right in your final note — collision is only disabled for active followers, and that’s how it was originally intended.
In the future, I might add different settings so users can choose how collision behaves.

Until the saddle problem is fixed this will stay ##'ed out of the modlist for my server, I've had one to many people start getting real pissed off with getting stuck in their mounts, it's a great mod, but until that issue is solved I can't reenable it

As a big fan of followers, this is the mod I wanted.

Added bonus, archer thralls shoot THROUGH the other thralls, too, making them relevant in group combat.

No luck. unsubbed, killed the game, reloaded to ensure it was gone. Killed the game again, resubbed, reloaded. Sill getting the error saying the mod is for a more recent version of the game, like TestLive. Verified all game files, March 29th update. This is weird; why is the problem so inconsistent between players?

Works great, followers are not an issue anymore jamming up doorways and just getting in your way in general. Added bonus, archer thralls shoot THROUGH the other thralls, too, making them relevant in group combat.
The only downside is still getting stuck in saddles all the time but it's easily remedied with a jump.

Unsubscribing and resubscribing might help you too, since I fixed single-player mode in the latest version.

Is it online on a dedicated server or just co-op? If it's a server, then the server needs to update the mod to the latest version — or maybe you have an outdated version of the mod. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to it.

If it's co-op, then your friend (if they are hosting) also needs to update the mod. Sometimes mods don't auto-update properly, so it might help for both of you to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod.

It appears the game just handles anything with a saddle on it differently, and doesn't seem quite sure what to do when this mod is on

in sepamaru when I clip through a passive thrall while in a mount (Stygian fighters) they would get aggro even though there is no damage nor hp taken to them (Maybe the mount horse clipping would register as them being hit?) (IDK if it is possible but walking should still have collision and only activate when running or jumping) (hands down still the best mod tho)

Having tested it again, mounting a horse that is not following is fine, as soon as you have it on follow it becomes an issue, its collision is removed as per the mod but the game still treats it as if you are stuck inside it, my suggestion would be to omit mounts from this effect, so horses camels and rhinos are still physical, that would solve the problem at least for now

On Legends of Shem, so if nobody else is having an issue with this then I'll assume its the map, as I see in the comments there shouldn't be a mod conflict from what I can see

Been playing for a while now and it's so good. I LOVE walking aorund my base without having to park my followers out of the way. And even more, I LOVE being able to jump into combat without my own thralls bringing me down by trapping me. Thank you :) Ya done good.

This only works with active followers, as originally intended.
You can also walk through another guarding NPC if you have an active follower standing next to you.

I left the room she was in - just moved to next room, then came back and tried again and she seems 100% solid now. Still just guarding.

Ok, it's working with followers now, but also working with one of my guarding thralls (Mei the Blade) when I approach her from most directions. From one side it only works on her most of the time, every now and then she's solid until I change angle of approach again. But she's guarding, not following. My followers are working 100%

not working for me to, and i have Better thrall Mod to, can be there is a conflict, i test your mod on on last Place yesterday in Modlist and topplace this day, didnt change anything.
