Is there an error with the setup for VR mission 1? I just noticed the level 4 door token actually gets placed a tile lower than the mission setup shows it should be placed, is that an error with the mod or was that, say, a misprint in the physical book that got corrected somewhere?

Great job w stage 8 thing, i thought im not able to do it by myself on tts, but just seen some comments here that is it possible to do it on tts, and yeah, i discovered first person mode in tts :D

@Heis okay thank you! that is exactly what i was looking for. i think it would be nice if there was a way to bring the menu back up to select a new mission without reloading the mod though. it would be a nice QOL feature

@Leftovers Hey! I'm glad you like it! Unfortunately I don't have anything in place for a persistent save file so you would just have to reload the mod to select new stages. BUT, you can use the save objects option when you right click the Memory Box, with all of the equipment cards you've unlocked stored inside and it will be loadable in further stages. That itself acts as a persistent "save" you can use.

@EtOH, it's something I was thinking about how I would approach. It's not impossible but it's pretty complicated, maybe one day lol.

@Heis im so glad you were able to make this. it is great! i have a question though as im new to tabletop simulator. once i select a mission to play is there a way to return to the main menu to select a new mission? i was hoping to have one save for my playthrough with my friend but i basically have to load it up as a new game every mission because i cant firgure out how to go back to the mission selection screen.

@Heis Just wanted to pop in again and throw out my appreciation for putting screenshots of the game box front -and back- in the workshop mod for the 'back of the box' section with Baker. I love that this game plays into some of the meta tropes of the original, and how you facilitate it in TTS.

It's because the pdf weights like 360mb lol, and archive.org isn't the fastest site to download from. I saved it as optimized with little to no decrease in quality and got it down to 30mb, if it's not an issue I can post a link here or sending it to you in private so you can put it in your cloud and update the link

I set the scene up in Blender and set up a camera with the Panoramic lens, and the Equirectangular panorama type. You then go to your Output Properties and make sure your render resolution is an aspect ratio of 2:1 (4096x2048).

(hint: use the First Person Camera. Yes, it's a thing in TTS, it allows you to move the camera like you would move it in an FPS game in a spectator mode)

Great port but you appear to be missing the boss board for the second phase of Psycho Mantis's fight (t changes one of his passive effects and lowers his defense to 4). the codec says it should be found in the box's insert if you have a physical copy

@Konichichiwa feel free to resize anything to your liking but for rex, just know that it's made of two objects attached together with the link tool and exist separately at different scales, hence your flattening issue. To get around this you need to use the link tool to detach Rex and the Rex Tile and scale them separately.

@thepieman So VR Mission #60 is a bonus mission downloaded from CMON. The name isn't meant to imply missing missions but is in fact a reference to a conversation between Raiden and Pliskin in MGS2. When pressed on his "extensive training" one of Raiden's responses was "Sneaking Mission 60".

I would say rezise the default map tiles. they're so small. I just resize them to make things easier, but I also noticed that if you start resizing rex things get..... flat.

This is a great upload! Small issue I noticed is that on the top left of the main table, there's something invisible causing some issue with collision. I noticed it while setting up the Helipad map, but I haven't been able to find the culprit.

Probably not super helpful, but it is working for me, the Campaign book is just a whole lot bigger than the other books so it might just take a really long time to load.

Just adding my two bits here, really happy that someone finally ported the MGS Board Game to the steam workshop! I got my own integral edition a while back, but all my friends live in different states, so I haven't been able to play with any of them until now. You're doing god's work with this.
