For me these VJ npcs have perfect accuracy, is there a way to change that?

A decent addition to my combine force, though he does tend to do a jig when I try to make him stand in place with "Guarding behavior" whilst holding off zombies, likely because his code is telling him to back away but he isn't allowed to. 8/10, Overwatch would recommend.

These guys have the aim of a stormtrooper.

You really need to make the gun more accurate. There's "Inaccurate Machine Gun" and then there's whatever the hell these guys carry.

I place like 5 of them down and none of them could consistently hit a rebel running at them, it was amazing to watch from above because it was almost like the bullets were parting for the rebel as if he were American Moses parting the sea of lead.

@RebelTank This is a known bug. I am looking into ways that should keep him targetable to all npcs while keeping his aggression. Thank you for the feedback though.

It could be another mod, but, their helmet sometimes prevents them from being aggro-ed.

i love these combine mods, i hope you'll later make it like zippy's combines where theres one for half life (which are obviously not as strong) but another one that makes them accurate (their armor and weaponry is really strong) since zippy's combines had currently broke thanks to a VJ Base update.

not something major, but the retail-like metropolice animations replacement does cause an interesting bug(?) where the metro heavy will lift their gun as if using an AR2. It doesnt cause problems, but it is wacky to look at. But, it's not that big of a deal.

So yeah, only the Followers mod breaks the ai. Reinstalled the FEAR ai and the npc works fine. Not sure why the Followers mod breaks the npc.

@Voltage I usually run just VJ + the npc when I am trying to troubleshoot if an issue is a conflict with another addon.

@Voltage Have you tried playing without those to see if it still happens? It seem like something is causing the npc's vision to be be blocked by the mask.

I could only think it's either the stealth system or Realistic Combine Soldier AI | almost F.E.A.R. AI
. But it's weird since the other NPCS seem fine. Plus it seems to only have a problem when it's mask is on. When shot off, it fires just fine.

@Voltage Sounds like its view is getting obstructed somehow. Are you using any mod other than this and VJ base that might affect NPC perception systems?

Not sure what's causing it, but the Metro Heavy will either not shoot at me or will fire a VERY short burst once until you shoot it's helmet off, then it will fire with no restraint. But what's weird is that it will shoot NPCs with no restraint. Rip Rebel number 68, he will be missed.

This might be due to the new VJ Base update, but for some reason this guy will straight up just sprint if you get too close (which, from what I can tell, isn't meant to be intentional)

@зондби What type of enemies are they fighting, base game or SNPCs. Do you have any other mods on that may affect npc behavior?

@rycch He doesn't attack his allies, but when he attacks his enemies, both sides do it in a choppy way, like every half a second they they stop shooting, but then resume again

@зондби Does it seems to intentionally target other npcs, because it could also be the wide spread of his weapon at range that is sometimes causing him to hit allies

His face shield seems to create a problem where he and the other npcs are having trouble seeing each other, like they shoot each other intermittently.

@bad335028 Not really without me modifying the NPC's code. He is not supposed to be a boss, more a strong support when paired with other enemies.

Its not over my head and he also really close to me, close enough to blast my head off. Is there any way to make him accurate enough that it become really hard to kill him?

@bad335028 How far were you way from him? Outside of a certain distance he is supposed to be more inaccurate as a suppressive unit. Get close enough and he should be decently accurate not perfect though. If he is just shooting over your head there is likely another addon that is conflicting with VJ Base, not my addon.
