I pair MO with CE a lot, and you get FSX from butchering boomalopes as well, it would be amazing to see a texture for this here too!

Hello friend, I've been playing with this mod and it adds a new "type" of fuel, like a toxic fuel, it has the old (to me is old) texture, you think you could retext that fuel or I'm asking in the wrong mod?
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 11:25
Making each new chemfuel type count as fuel for all machines and vehicles etc... would be quite a lot of work. And probably requires a lot of Auto Patching which I don't know how to code unfortunately, I'm very sorry.

I'm curious if this could be made to have two types of chemfuel. 'Primitive Chemfuel', ie, this, which is made by people too primitive to produce the more refined 'standard chamfuel' and maybe even a third variant 'advanced chemfuel' for when you reach that end-game state?

Nice work friend !

Really a medieval retexture for FSX and Prometheum would be great.

Can you make the jar have some streaks of red at least? I have a feeling I'll misremember that chemfuel (can) is supposed to be red for a long while.
Low Intelligence Specimen 5. apr. kl. 16:43
@Hexacon yeah a retexture. I believe you can use FSX to make things like Molotov Cocktails. It still appears in trader inventories or such. I'll keep an eye out if its used anywhere else

Just a suggestion, since its kind of related to chemfuel.
Annabellee 4. apr. kl. 14:11
@tanyfilina dubs does something like for water flacks/water bottle
maaarble 4. apr. kl. 5:53
:TiredAdorable:
Kimo' 4. apr. kl. 1:05
Biofuel would also be fine as a way to unlock it
tanyfilina 4. apr. kl. 1:00
Not necessarily VFE:Tribals, personally I use tech progression from Tweaks Galore. Not sure, but I would suggest the moment of some research finished, Biofuel one, for example. If it is possible at all.

@Hexacon Hmm, are you able to set it as a style thats available to everyone? As you can set what style you want things to have in the workbench (the menu where you can set what materials you want) then we as players could swap between them as wished there making implementation easier. Not a rimworld modder so im unsure how feasable though.
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 23:38
Bad Idea, because then I would force people to use my own style rather than theirs.
And it's not worth it for just a single item.
Maybe if I turn this into an entire mod with a bunch of retextures, i'll make it into a style
Azrail 3. apr. kl. 23:28
@Kimo' Maybe having the graphics tied to a style like how the weapons and armours change, Ive seen other mods change the graphics of components (ex. the steampunk style from alpha memes). Think that would be a good way to implement it?
Kimo' 3. apr. kl. 23:07
I think @tanyfilina is refering to tech progression from VFE:Tribals, and I agree that it would be super cool if you could get your texture for neolithic and medieval, and the normal one for industrial and up. Great art, btw!
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 23:05
@homounicornio thanks
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 23:05
@tanyfilina what does "gets to industrial" mean ? There isn't a set point in the game where you become industrial, unless if you're using a mod that does that
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 23:04
@Low Intelligence Specimen do you mean just a retexture or do you want them to be for medieval ? Idk if there's any use for them in medieval
homounicornio 3. apr. kl. 23:03
Damn, this is how it should look like in vanilla. Amazing work, thanks for sharing!
tanyfilina 3. apr. kl. 22:54
So will it now change the view when the player gets to Industrial?
Low Intelligence Specimen 3. apr. kl. 19:42
Would it be possible to replace FSX and prometheum from combat extended?
ALE199 3. apr. kl. 10:11
Looks better!
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 7:35
@Annabellee I'll see what I can do for the Fecal Sludge
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 7:28
There we go , big update !
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. kl. 7:22
Hold on a sec, I'm uploading an updated version of this mod rn lol
Annabellee 3. apr. kl. 6:44
2 things. 1 is there a way you could change back to the old chemfeul when you hit a particular tech level or research chemfeul? 2. FecalSludge from Dubs Bad Hygiene I know there one already. But it is out of date and look not as great.https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2836937160&searchtext=Fecal
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. kl. 23:35
More calories !
Miha_metan 1. apr. kl. 23:34
i feel so bad to the pawns who couldn't tell a soup bowl and chemfuel bowl apart and burnt from the inside :steamsad:
WorldOfHurt 1. apr. kl. 20:47
You can also rename it to Naphtha, to give it a more medieval feel than "Chemfuel".
Noble116 1. apr. kl. 15:17
Very nice work on the art! Looks perfectly inline with vanilla textures, so well done.
Hexacon  [ophavsmand] 31. mar. kl. 3:18
Yeah, I'd rather not have anything else other than a retexture, it makes it more flexible for people to use
Usernames Are Hard 31. mar. kl. 2:00
@Trismegistos If you're interested, the draught table from Vanilla Factions Expanded: Medieval 2 has a chemfuel recipe.
Autismus Maximus 30. mar. kl. 12:18
Nice. Maybe a more unique texture to differentiate it from the rest of the pots in other retextures?

Maybe an Amphora, or a spherical glass bottle
homounicornio 29. mar. kl. 15:09
Looks really cool! I love medieval textures, and, to me, this is how it should have looked originally. Thanks for sharing!
evil yaoi wizard 29. mar. kl. 8:24
beautiful! loving all these tribal/medieval retextures im seeing lately
The Blind One 29. mar. kl. 7:31
Is a good texture man. You did well.
Trismegistos 29. mar. kl. 7:13
You could add a preindustrial method of making chemfuel. Some mod items can use chemfuel, but the only way to make it without electricity is boomalopes.
