Hey 0.0, is it possible to switch which number is in the main box? For example Cooking, and 3 of its sub tasks Bake, Cook, and Prep. If I set Bake to 1, Cook to 2, and Prep to 3, the Cooking task is 1, as its the highest priority. I would love a configuration setting that reversed that, so it showed the lowest priority first, instead of the highest.

Reason being, I have a "Basic" work setting that sets unskilled tasks that don't get XP to be done by everyone first. So for example they all will empty a drying rack or deliver resources to a project, since those tasks don't earn XP or affect the result. But it is difficult to see who is doing what work when half of the work priorities are set to 1, when in reality its a single sub task that has that priority, not the majority.

I'm having trouble again. It won't follow priorities. If I prioritize "Replant Tree" it just makes colonists do every "Grow" function. I have this at the bottom of my modlist.

I don't have any other worktype mods. I wonder if Romance On The Rim or Vanilla Social Interactions Expanded are somehow interacting?

When I removed Feeding Work Type, making sure Work Tab was at the bottom of my modlist, every Pawn went to Standing, then reset properly back to normal. Saved game is okay.

Feeding Work Type broke this. It no longer follows the sub categories for priorities, just 1-9 on the whole "Handle" or "Haul" job. Defeats the purpose of downloading Work Tab. Here's the mod: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3272131694&searchtext=feeding+work

with only this mod and Research Spot installed (to test easily due to no resource cost to make), I've found an odd behavior: going from numeric to on/off priority turns off vanilla's "oh you want to use the old order of importance, got it." is this intentional? because sometimes it's really useful to just have people work left to right, not by their number priority.

Your looking for Work Tab 1.5 and 1.6 Temp id=2552065963 that has the vertical headers and doesn't make columns immovable in the Numbers mod for an added bonus.

The old version I used to have of this mode turned the header text vertical, which reduced the space required to see all the columns. Is there any chance for a toggle to enable that? Or would it be a lot of work? (I find the staggered header text hard to read) Thanks for all your hard work maintaining this essential mod!

There's nothing I can do about it, it's a side effect caused by the DragSelect mod. This mod patches many common methods of Widgets, and when you're dragging the horizontal scrollbar, try to avoid placing the mouse over the priority box. Alternatively, you can disable the mouse wheel in the mod settings, then hold Shift and scroll, which will also allow horizontal scrolling, but this is only available in version 1.6.

Ah. Well that's an unfortunate interaction.

Could you perhaps make it so disabling the mouse wheel feature on the boxes allow you to use the mouse wheel to scroll the window from left to right?

Is there a scroll bar implemented? I seem to remember it was there once (but maybe it was one of the other forks). Sometimes the tab takes to much screen :( sometimes it's get truncated and i cant see all the pawns.

Any plans to re-add or redo the vertical labels feature? Even without lots of mods, the work tab is super crowded as-is. Or perhaps there is a way to make this mod compatible with Compact Work Tab?

This isn't due to any recent change. This has been a problem for a while.

Note 1: This happens even with "Disable Scrollwheel".

I can't for the life of me get the options to show up. Moved around load order, tried turning off potentially conflicting mods. And still I have just the vanilla work tab.

That hurt me right in the feelings...

I hope you documented that stuff well, I _am_ going to spend some time looking at how you did it in the near future. The weird diagonal cropping eluded me for literal years, to the point where I was pretty much convinced this was a bug with Unity IMGUI.

Anyhow, thanks for keeping the mod going, and if your description is correct, improving it! I'm unlikely to return to modding in the near future, and even If I do I'd be more than happy to leave most of my mods in the capable hands of those who've been improving and maintaining them.

Keep doing what you're doing!

Oh! Thanks. Looking into it right now (my gitlab keys did expired, so, there is that to resolve first)
I think I fixed the original path for Columns width calculations once the game added this feature, but missed Work Tab specific one.

Thank you, but I don't plan to add this feature to this mod. I've completely reworked the way Fluffy's Work Tab extended columns are displayed and rendered, so it would be better to implement this feature in a separate mod.

Just to mention — I was also the one who submitted the PR on your GitLab repository. 😄

I have a proper implementation of vertical labels, I used in Grouped Pawns List:

I basically hijacking all of Work Tab render routines and replacing with mine in that mod, so I used this code to render labels properly.
You can use it if you want.
