@objsource Not anytime soon I'm afraid. I'm busy elsewhere at the moment, but maybe I'll have time later this fall or winter. I've added links to my .psd files if you (or anybody) want to continue the work - see the "Assets" section at the bottom of the page.

Added a written description for the "Updates" images. I'm not sure which img host still work in the UK, if you know something free and easy to use, please lemme know.

FYI imgur.com has blocked the UK from accessing it's site so your mod description which contains images hosted there, now has NO information available in that format for anyone accessing from the UK.
you may want to consider updating with a text description.

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update to mention that the Odyssey survival meal pallet got updated.

Also - if anyone is interested into peeking or reusing this mod files, I'll post a link to a dropfile containing all my photoshop assets.

Feel free to do whatever you want with those assets - as long as you learn and get better!

As for the other mods to patch - they might get done eventually. But doing it yourself would certainly be faster. ;)

@Indigo Yeah well, I was planning on releasing the psd files with simple explanations so people can copy, learn, and do more of those, since I can't visibly keep up with the demands. It's honestly really simple to do the second you understand how to use vectors in an image editor. I'll prepare something somewhere this week or the next.

Hey Jelheb, awesome texture mod! This is what Vanilla should be so big thumbs up! Got a question or request per say:

Any way I can get a link to the vector graphics so I can resize/reposition them to my liking (not messing with the art, they're beautiful)? I've already accomplished this by cropping the bigger comparison simple meal on this steam page but the thicker & blurrier black outlines ruin it so I need to alter it on a vector program.

Also is it possible to make the sidebar show the x10 stack image instead of the x1? ( I've noticed things like Psychite Tea show the x150 stack image but meals are the x1 stack. It's a hair too small compared to vanilla sidebar items.

For those who have their game crash when moving the gravship, this mod has an incompatibility with adaptive storage ( as of recent patch, I think ), where the game is trying to draw a meal Graphic_MealVariants -> code tries to pick the right subgraphic -> index it calculates doesn’t exist → crash.

Then Adaptive Storage Framework (OptimizedPrintData → AssignThingGraphic → ThingCollection.Add) tries to render the thing when it’s registered in a storage cell, and the crash bubbles out while spawning gravship cargo (GravshipPlacementUtility.SpawnNonPawnThings).

Removing it fixes the issue.

This is gunna be a tall ask but I REALLY like how you did some of the other foods not just bowls (Like the cooking expanded ones (bakes grills etc... ) wouldit be possible to make some of the vanilla ones not in bowls too, to look like proper meals/food items?

Jelheb, the good news is Better Survival Meals doesn't even need NEW textures, you already have the vegetarian and carnivore ones working, it just needs a compatibility patch to enable them for the new recipes, so it saves on making new art. There isn't much you could even do to update the textures than maybe recolor the little square up in the top corner, lol

@fatburner They don't - the mod is simply changing the texture of meals.

@Jelheb Well, Rustic Meal retexture is loaded after all Food Texture Variety mods. I am not noticing any issues at all. Most meals look like the Rustic ones and the ones that Food Texture Variety touches but Rustic Meals doesn't, look like the Food Variety ones. I would say that they are compatible, since some meals also look like this and others like that.

in the game when you turn on the mod they warn that it is not suitable for the current version of the game, it says that it is only suitable for 1.4 and 1.5

@Kiterain Salvatore Just updated BSMeal.xml - It shouldn't be throwing a red warning anymore, although the Large Meals are gone in 1.6 (see original mod). Works as before on 1.4 and 1.5.

@Guineatown20806 Unsure, it depends on how the Food Texture Variety refers to base meals. But the last one in the mod list will have priority over the other ones. If you try it out, lemme know how that behaves!

Quick question: If I combine the mod with "Food Texture Variety - mod series" by FaintingGoat (I normally only use Rustic Meal Retexture because it is one mod that includes most meals, the textures look vanilla and nice and Food Texture Variety is multible mods.) Will it cancle cetain textures depening on the modlist load order or will it be partial compatible making some meals look like this other like that and so on?
