I disagree with many here saying it's too white and the uniforms are silly I love it, absolutely looks amazing. It's YOUR mod do with it as you please because there are people who love it.

I have to agree with others. I think you behaved a little too much like an artist who doesn't know when to put the brush down. The uniforms are just silly and overdone. The infatuation with white is also very abrasive and unrealistic. Everything is else is absolutely awesome but the U-101 on the side is also over the top. Seriously though I really want to use this mod but it's just too over the top.

Looks like we might be close to uncovering that ‘Holy Grail’ — because I think I’ve found the file.

The filenames I believe are:

uboat.character.other.suit
uboat.character.other.suit.manifest

I’m quite confident these are the right ones.

You can find them by following this path:

steamapps\common\UBOAT\UBOAT_Data\StreamingAssets\Packages\uboat\Bundles

I really believe we can figure this out together

Hi Aku, ther is no harm in asking,and just as you and your friends i also whant to use that uniform and i have been searching for that file for a long time but never been able to find it its like searching for the holy graal so sadly i cant help you not right now anyway.

Hi bro, I’d like to kindly request something:

In Uboat, when the captain dies and we promote an officer to captain, they wear a special suit uniform. If you're curious, it looks like:

1. The man next to the mission vehicle
2. The one from whom we recruit crew members

This uniform exists in-game but is hidden and only wearable by the captain under certain conditions. I want to make it available to all officers, and if possible, the entire crew.

I'm not a modder, but I’ve done research that might help—please don’t take this as ego.

I believe if we replace an existing outfit (like “jacket-05”) with this special uniform, it could solve the issue easily.

If you can create and upload this mod to the Workshop, I’d be very happy. A few friends of mine also want this uniform, and I’d love for others to enjoy it too. Thanks in advance!

you can delete the folder calld ctbbs uniforms from the bundlefile folder. ore most possible override this mod whit another uniform mod.. thanks

Hi, I really like your mod, but only the interior decoration of the submarine, photos, period advertisements, etc. Regarding the Kriegsmarine uniforms, I think you've improvised too much. It would be great if you could adapt that part to historical uniforms to make it a perfect mod. Best regards and good luck.

Othervise you can as last resort delete the bundlefile called Ctbbs uniforms from the folder.

@Dcving It appears you did not understand my comment. I did not complain about symbols, I was merely pointing out that the real U101 looked different and some stuff on uniforms did as well. I also did not demand a "sanitised" version of history. I am actually all for using historical symbols. So I suggest you brush up your language skills before you call others a loser.

Does this work with any U-boat? (For example I have U-209), or does it only work with the actual U-101 in game?

It's a fictional skin not historical by perfection! But still a work in progress, things may change.
But my intension for the u-101 was newer to be historical correct, i could have calld it say U-102, but its a imaginatively skin so you have to take it ore leave it as it is. cheers

Some aspects look great, but overall it would need some reworking. It starts with U101 being a type VII B.
Going through the screenshots here above:
1: Never saw that emblem before. Historical? What about https://www.uboat.net/special/emblems/boats.html?boat=101
2: Unusually large letter and numbers on the sail, again, historical?
9, 19, 33: English wording on maps and tables on a German sub (I am aware that might be the only textures available, yet there might be German language ones)
23: Rank epaulette misplaced (not sure if that can be corrected)
27: Military emblems on civilian clothes - unrealistic
28: Badge "AFRIKAKORPS" on the right arm - does not belong on a submarine
37, 38: Wrong flotilla emblem on the conning tower (2nd flotilla emblem is shown, U101 was never part of 2nd flotilla)
40: Chevron misplaced (not sure if that can be corrected)

Bro thanks for the mod, it's just great! The boat feels alive, especially if you look into the head of the XD. There is a problem with the placement of stickers on the gyrocompass and another problem is that the numbers on the hull and the emblem are very bright. Try to add a little rust and dirt. And so the mod is cool, add chips to the diesel compartment and the cabin of the junior officers of the plz

Im not supporting stuff like that im just for the real deal and history of it nothing else.
But if you are offended by it, thers a sulution for it !.dont use it.
