Hey boss I really love this mod its possibly the greatest plug and play scenario for a group of friends that I have found however I wonder if there will ever be an option to adjust the AI vehicle amount seperately on either side so maybe BLUFOR would have less in comparison to OPFOR or vice versa, thank you

Talk to the officer near where you spawn in. He's got an option to add AI teammates to your group.

You can also get them when using the garage from the same officer. In the upper right it lets you put AI into vehicle positions. Those guys will join your squad.

@|PLayeR|№1 Now I understand. Yes, my mod is not made of modules that can just be placed into other missions. Some of the features could be ported over, but that requires programming work, not simply changing modules or mods.

@Skull Hi, I did not mean your mod fails.
I was only asking you as you have also made a mod with AI revival and thought you might be able to tell me how to use your revival script instead.

If you want to know how to make ArmaCommander mod + pSiKO Ai Revive - (PAR LRX) mod fail.
I should make a distinction between re-spawn and teamswitch.
So to make the two mods fail, you need to get injured, the screen will go dark and the timer will start before respawn, (unless AI revives you before that time) nothing broken yet.
But what if you select another char on your squad or another team and do a teamswitch.
The screen stays dark. and the Timer is now -1000 which means it will be stuck that dark for a long time, and you cannot see the enemies or where the downed guys is to revive him.

I hope this makes sense.
But as your mission is not made of individual modules, It will probably not be possible to replace the pSiKO Ai Revive - (PAR LRX) mod with your healing system.

@Dzen After recruiting the units, there will be an action on them to select the loadout you desire. It's easiest to tell them to 'stop' and then approach them.

@|PLayeR|№1 So what do I do to make it fail? I had that mod turned on and I was still able to respawn without issue. Can you tell me what to do with the mod to cause a failure so I don't have to figure out how the mod works. Thanks.

When i recruit AI teammates to my squad, randomly selected soldiers appear. How can i recruit only those unit types who are needed at the moment?

No ArmaCommander is not the Eden Editor

But it can be used as a module in Eden Editor.

What does this mean: 'But for ArmaCommander it does not work, because it does not recognise the new characters HP and the screen stays dark grey.' Isn't Arma Commander used to create missions? If you try editing my mission in the editor, it's not going to work since I don't use the editor at all. My mission is coded and doesn't use the editor for much of anything.

@|PLayeR|№1 I am rarely interested in modifying other peoples mods, so I'm not likely to add the flagpoles to the Avannex mod. I'd guess its possible for someone familiar with arma coding to be able to do it though.

I was not saying I prefer another one. But I will try to explain.
For a game where you "respawn" the pSiKO Ai Revive - (PAR LRX) works fine.
But for ArmaCommander it does not work, because it does not recognise the new characters HP and the screen stays dark grey.
Another question I had, was how did you make the Sector control Flagpole.
I wonder if its possible to add such a module to the Evannex AI vs AI mod?

|PLayeR|№1 I wrote my own ai revive system. My healing system has the ability to swap places with other AI on your squad, although I don't think that it's enabled in this mission. There is an option in the parameters to disable my ai revive mod so you can use another one. Give that a try if you have another you prefer.

Hi, which system did you use for the AI Revive?
I tried the The pSiKO Ai Revive - (PAR LRX) mod.
It works but it is strange with Arma Commander Mod, when you are down, the screen goes dark, when you go to map and teleport to another unit, the screen stays dark even after you are in a healthy unit.
Do you think your AI healing system would work different with something where you can teleport to another soldier on the map?

@|PLayeR|№1 The goal was to make a mission I can play with my friends. It's a randomized capture the island mission. I'm not sure I'd call it dynamic, but it's close to what I was shoot for. I'm sure I'll keep adding things that I think are fun.

I have an update I hope to have ready this week that will add more fast travel options.

Right now you can fast travel between bases, or from a captured flag to a base.

New options coming soon:
1. Include fast travel to captured flags.
2. Include being para-dropped near un-captured flags.

Thank you. The mod is very nice. But is there fast travel or take control of other units or do you have to helicopter everywhere or go on foot?
After I flew to the first flag, I landed a bit far away. Then I was not sure is there a way to call a vehicle or just walk to the next flag...

It should work with any factions. You can choose the RHS units when you choose factions at the start of the game. Also, before you start the game you you can set a bunch of options in the parameters including telling it to use only vehicles of the chosen faction.

If you want to reset the game and re-choose factions, use the 1st parameter "force new game".
