Yes, it should be quite easy; just disallow the player and AI from researching tanks (you'll have to find the file yourself). There are more thorough ways, but that should be enough.

Hello, you seem to be experienced in mods. Could you tell me if it would be possible to completely remove tanks from the game?
I wanted to make a mod entirely for infantry and artillery, and also keep only the reconnaissance planes.

It should be able to run on its own. I used the devs skirmish maps in campaign mod and the better persistence mod when I made it.

It usually places up to about 10, depending on how much supply it has. It should probably buy less but I'll fix it later.

Nice to see that there's still people making mods for this game and only if the publisher didn't abandon this game maybe this game would've been the best ww1 rts out there.
