@Generalissimo Hopfenkuchen Exactly what book are we picking up that claims Hitler was a socialist? Literally name one. Books by other nazis/alt right/far right individuals do not count as they cozy up to him. Has to be a book made by a historian, political scientist, etc. Hitler was not a socialist, he was a fascist. Also just say his damn name, it's not even censored on TikTok the algo just doesn't boost it because people don't talk about it because they THINK it's censored.
4. “National Socialism” = PR Stunt
Socialism is about equality, not privileges for a “chosen nation.” Nazis kept private property (Krupp, Siemens), gave tax breaks to the rich, and used social programs (e.g., KdF, mother subsidies) for eugenics and loyalty, not equality. Women were pushed into traditional roles (Kinder, Küche, Kirche). Tax breaks for the rich stayed and “social policies” excluded Jews, gypsies and disabled people.
5. What Historians Say
Adam Tooze’s The Wages of Destruction shows the Nazi economy was capitalist with authoritarian steering. Companies like IG Farben thrived on state contracts; workers had no "rights".
Conclusion: Calling Nazis “socialists” is like calling North Korea a democratic republic because it’s in the name.
1. Corporatism ≠ Socialism
Nazis crushed unions to enforce party control, not worker rights. Corporatism (state + big biz) is fascist, not socialist. Socialism abolishes private property; Nazis kept it intact.
2. No Equality, Even for “Aryans”
Nazis enforced racial hierarchies, even among Germans. Racial theorists like Hans Günther ranked “Nordic Aryans” as superior. The SS was designed as a new aristocracy—far from socialism’s class equality.
3. Mao Comparison Fails
Mao fought other socialists but stayed communist. Hitler was an anti-communist exterminationist. Nazism = racial supremacy; socialism = class struggle.
