Yea, the name is from hungarian origin, but some people from North Croatia uses too, probably from hungarian families, etc, etc

Darn, fair enough! Asked because the main dude in the book and show's last name is Kovacs, somehow skipped my mind it's a potentially common name, my mistake. (Great contraption either way)

Never heard of Altered Carbon.
But 'Kovacs' is a common used surame in Eastern Europe countries :steamthumbsup:
