The crash occurred when loading the map. There weren't even any shots fired. It crashes when entering the game if a background map with an elite soldier is loaded. In general, I haven't figured out yet what's wrong here, but something is wrong.

@Sinigr you need to add "$nodecal" "1" to all vmts

Hello, I just realised that there is a missing texture for the Elite's eye is it alright when you have time could you fix that little missing texture of the eye of the elite pls? and it's not just that it's also there's missing textures on the Prison guard. Confirmed information now, for some reason the elites here don't like to share space with any other mod LOL

if theres only this mod in installed the skins work fine , but if theres ANY OTHER MOD, at least for me the game crashes when the elites spawn xD

Oh well maybe its just here , at least the regular soldiers and shotgunners works =D

My man, you can ignore everything I said. Turns out the crashes were because for some reason the elites here are conflicting with some other mod I have on my end.

That’s strange, but I can confirm the issue. My game worked fine with Regular Soldiers, Shotgunners, and Nova Prospekt Guard skins. The crashes only started when an Elite unit spawned.

To be sure, I used GCFScape to extract the files and deleted only the Elite ones, leaving the other groups intact. After that, even when an Elite appeared, the game ran without any crashes. So I ended up using the Alyx-style Elites just so they wouldn’t be the only low-quality NPCs in the game xD

Awesome mod but the combine elites crash the game , I had to delete them and use the Combine Elite from another half life alyx style combine mod =/

Elite spawn breaks the server, but very good!

Nova Prospekt guards have very small missing texture on their thigh. Otherwise good

port it on gmod and make them with rng bodygroups

i don't get it. i can play fine with graphical enchancement but when ever i try to do something combine they lag my pc out.

jk just checked rn and it appears that none of my addons are affecting it, i literally disabled everything aside from this mod and still have the two missing textures, so i dunno what is happening?

ill just enable this and do the good old figure out which addon is messing with this, oh and the button on the thigh pouch on combine soilders is also mssing its textues.

@GameDevJr would an effect's mod affect it?, i mean its a texture not an effect, but other than that i don't have any mod that affects the texture for combine elites eye

i also figured out that it's if you apply any animations to the elite in this pack it crashes the game to desktop

its on your end, i dont see them. maybe an addon(s) is overriding it

the eye of the elite shows up as missing texture...

also love these. but yeah i hope you get to fixing the elite's crashing the game.
