I can't guess what the problem might be, but you can try to ask TFA devs in comment section about this issue.

Well that's incredibly odd. No matter what I try I just can't get it to work. Tried everything from only having this and the two required addons enabled, using the x64-x86 branch, resubbing to this and even validating game files, and nothing worked.

It works fine on my side. Try to restart GMod and load gm_construct to see any issues again or use x64-x86 branch.

For some reason, the laser sight and flashlight don't show up on the gun. Likewise, when using the Holographic sight, Kobra sight and Red dot sight, the marker in the sights also doesn't show up. Finally, the 2x Red dot, C79 scope and PO 4x24 are impossible to see through with.

Tested it out with only the weapon and the two required addons and the issues persisted.
