@Kraxous the only colonist bar touching mod that i use is ColonyGroups

Composite Loadouts and Better pawn control are the closest to touching those areas maybe ?
I also have character editor on. The majority of my mods consist of the Vanilla expanded series and the adaptive storage module.
I also have XML extensions on. maybe that is causing the missing mod options ?

@Gidwelion - Thanks for the debug. I've done a quick search on it and can't really see anything untoward. If you can tell me what mods you're using specifically that affect the colonist bar (located at the top of your screen during gameplay), I can see about checking if a postfix is needed.

You will be fine removing the mod mid-save, it's designed to be loaded and unloaded at will.

is this mod safe to remove mid safe ? its very apparent that something in my modlist breaks this mod, wich causes this mod to disable the ability to rearrange my pawns in the colony bar

the mod option are empty. and i get a single repeating red error. i installed it during a run. Several mods and ColonyGroups is active.

This mods seems to disable the vanilla rearranging colonist portrait feature with right click dragging, which I had this issue when playing with LTO ColonyGroups mod.

maybe we can try to allow colonists to have multiple markers, for example, you can add markers in the upper right corner and the lower right corner.
After all, a colonist will have multiple different identities

@esobrev @eNoble-US I've taken a look into this issue you describe with the following loaded:

- Harmony
- Core
- Royalty
- Biotech
- [NL] Custom Portraits
- Pawn Marker

I've managed to reproduce the bug with the keybind set to right click. Seems as though, with the new ability to rebind, it is overriding the drag ability. I'll fix some other small bugs that I've noticed and then push a patch out. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I have the same issue too; unable to drag and re-order pawns on the bar. I'm only using [NL] Custom Portraits

@eNoble-US What's your mod list? There could be another mod interfering. If you have any colony drawer (the top bar) mods, please let me know. Additionally the likes of "portraits" or anything relating to reorganising pawns.

As of this evening, the mod is on version 1.4.1 which has been tested thoroughly. I apologise if something has gone amiss.

Issue: When I right click and attempt to drag a pawn to reorganize them on the pawn bar, this mod does not allow it. I either get "No Marker Found" or if I've created a marker it will won't let me move a pawn on the bar.

TLDR: This mod seems to disable the ability to reorganize pawns

@TheSquirrelofHuscurl someone did actually suggest further down about rebinding it to MMB which is... tempting. I'm still on the fence with the idea. However, to be able to rebind would actually be a great idea. I'll do some further research into this, as I have 5 other mods in development and creating keybinds has been troublesome due to layer protection.

@KaelynZ this problem is incrrreeeeeedddddddibbbbbbbbly specific, so I'm not exactly sure how to even approach fixing it tbh :( if we can isolate it further, then I could perhaps do something about it.

@Kraxous: I spoke too soon saying all was well, alas. While i can set markers, and they show up in correct positions when they show up, they don't *always* show up. Experimenting suggests that if the icons in the colonist bar are too small, the corner marker is not painted. I have posted two pics to my Google drive, one with markers and one without, where literally the only difference between the two is whether i checked the 'Hide Groups' button in the Colony Groups UI. However, the problem is not due to that particular button per se; it's due to the fact is has to shrink the icons.

That's unfortunate. I've got one more suggestion too - allow us to rebind the key for the marker. Right click, by default, lets you shift the order of pawns on the top bar. As far as I'm aware there's no way to change this keybind in-game (maybe through file editing it's possible), so it'd be more convenient if we could rebind the marker key to something else instead.

Support for [NL] Custom Portraits is now added. I've tested it along with just Pawn Marker. In addition to RimHUD, ColonyGroups and GraphicsSettings+.

It did kick my backside a bit trying to get it to work - but after 3 hours, it does, so that's all that counts, right?

I wasn't even paying attention, I just booted my game and played, and OMG, I see the markers in my colony bar, and leftr clicking allows me to set them, and oh, wow - IT JUST WORKS!!! The mod seems incompatible with [NL] Custom Portraits. The flag won't scale with the portrait size and position unfortunately. Great mod anyways.

Well it was a ballache, but I've gotten RimHud, GraphicsSettings+, [LTO] Colony Groups ALL to work with Pawn Marker. Next on the agenda: [NL] Custom Portraits! (I assume [NL] is the Netherlands patch for Custom Portraits?)

Update being pushed live shortly after some more testing.
