I will check in with Zephyr about updating the mod. As far as I am aware, the bugs seem to have been squashed. Just need to get the update posted.

This thing definitely spawns as an advanced anomaly. As a quirk, it shows up in the codex when it spawns instead of when it's seen, so I knew it was around. That meant when my prox detector went off, I was able to limit losses to one of my two living ghouls. Chances are it's lost forever but hopefully I can limit losses to that one and that one alone.

Rift stalker need one human enemy every 3 day...Isn't this a bit too much?
Raid isn't always human raid, even if i catch some enemy for "dragon food storage", it also hard to keep it full. And if i keep it full, it will lost it vore ability to free catch a enemy...maybe let rift stalker have a more longer empty time to catch prey for itself

I met rift stalker and it spawn 3 of them in once...Should it be one? if I'm not THAT strong and every rift stalker be shot down at first time meet, I will lose 3 pawn

yes he won't eat anything else. Currently he has to be fed pawns to keep him docile. otherwise he will eventually hunt your pawns.

At the moment he moves to two locations.

From Point A to B, where he goes invisible in between. Then Point B to C to lose the player.

one potential problem is that it runs too fast and reaches its hiding spot before it goes invisible, but I haven't tested much and only got the event once. also the anomaly log showed up before it became visible, spoiling the reveal.

It looks a bit too fragile. I tried to catch him in a harmless way, but he always got killed. I could even kill him with a non-lethal weapon.

i have noticed that if you open the debug log it will constantly say true false over and over when i checked what mod it was it said it was from this one. i don't know if it is just my mod list being angry or if anyone else has had this issue

It seems to be mostly visual and only seems to happen when its docile. Havent tested it when its still hostile.

i believe if you did make the game consider it an animal as well it would allow the implant so that would then be an actual issue when not using commands

also with the training stuff i think if you made the creature considered an animal as well as an entity it would give it a tame option when not captured(if that's wanted) and it should also make said control mod not as buggy

figured it out if you have a mod that lets you control animals or a mod that adds an implant to do it, you would be able to feed it to have someone feed it to itself which breaks the game. also sorry for all of the notifications

As of right now it is not yet implemented. Once we fix the current bugs, the next step would be to give it some behaviors when it is docile. Currently getting sprites done for a tendril grapple and a beam attack. which It could potentially use against raiders.

Its an entity for Anomaly, so I don't believe it should have the same trainability as other creatures. More of a "do its own thing when it wants to, sometimes to your benefit" kind of creature.

How do you train the Rift Stalker? I fed it and after I released it, every time I tried to click on the train option, it says, "Cannot train Rift Stalker: Animal is busy."

Its going to be adding a few mobs and ideas to the world of Rimworld. As of right now, it adds the Rift Stalker. But will add some other creatures in the future, time and budget allowing.
