ah o-k, I understand. glad to hear that anyhow
Kitty-VonTease 20 Jun @ 12:33pm
I'm still happy with the mod just reporting back on it its one i'll keep going on and off with
MusicTron3000  [author] 16 Jun @ 10:30pm
it isn't another mod, that's for sure. rifle_swing_infected_10 has madness' glass smashing noise. it's in the preview.
it felt really smacky to hear in game. and satisfying, for an example, to deadstop a jockey with that, so I have it like that.
and sometimes when you shove infected, their body collision will shove other infected, which may fit with glass breaking sound effect. more variety? if you don't feel like it fits, my apologies
Kitty-VonTease 16 Jun @ 12:42pm
not sure if its one of my other mods but for me i get a glass smashing noise when i hit zombies sometimes
MusicTron3000  [author] 30 May @ 3:25am
ya, thanks

even tho it would be cool, I'll respect if you won't do it, still a peak mod
MusicTron3000  [author] 29 May @ 1:46pm
thanks. if you mean whatever other sfx in general, like uhm melee, guns or blood splats; then it would most certainly be doable, time consuming though. and my mind is in a bit of a mess as of recently, so it will take longer to do, if ever really...
C0NTRAXXX 29 May @ 12:24pm
peak mod bro, it would be cool if you did the other sfx too

i guess they first didn't work, but they then did? anyways, i said fixing in making shoving survivors a bit more louder
MusicTron3000  [author] 22 Mar @ 10:30am
fix... what exactly? sorry, not to come off as rude, I didn't get the issue. fix the survivor shoving being quiet? the lower quality of it? or it just doesn't work for you?

if it's the first two, I understand, and probably will do something about it when able. an idea is to keep this addon intact in case anyone likes this version better, and make a duplicate one, that has been trimmed. if it's the third, that can't be an issue of the addon... if it works for me, then it should work for everyone. unless some other addon takes priority over this one.

how come you didn't have zombie shoves at first, but then they appeared as should? what did you do?
try moving the workshop addon to "addons" folder, if it's working only half way to you. it's name should be 3434642680.
Keanu Reeves 22 Mar @ 5:16am
so, are you willing to fix it?
MusicTron3000  [author] 21 Mar @ 5:42pm
well, I'm glad that it works at least half way.

maybe the sounds are just quiet, and not distinct enough. I've had the same suspicion about survivor shoves not working at first, when I was troubleshooting. but after listening a bit more carefully, I could hear the AAHW's "Huh?" though they are indeed quiet.
a distinctive feature about the mod's survivor shove, with which you can probably tell the difference if you listen, is how it has lower quality than the original sound. there really isn't much difference between original l4d2 survivor shoves and this. just the addition of barely noticeable AAHW alerts.
Keanu Reeves 21 Mar @ 1:36pm
i think it's conflicting with a footstep sound mod i have, i'll uninstall it and try to see if it works now
Keanu Reeves 21 Mar @ 1:35pm
checked it rn, apparently the mod IS working for shoving zombies, but not for shoving survivors

that is indeed strange. I apologize for the very late late reply.

does the addon conflict with any other addon that you might have installed prior? the addon list chooses the addon priority by which was installed first. so if it's placed higher than this addon, it might overlap.

to change that priorty, you can find addonlist.txt in "left4dead2" folder. open it (preferably with something like notepad++, so that you can see it lined up better), and simply put it's text above everything else. though I doubt that workshop version of the addon will work with this, as it always checks the workshop addons last. hence it always goes in the very bottom. therefore you can put the addon from the "workshop" folder within your "addons" folder, into the said "addons" folder.

I personally subscribed to this addon to see if the workshop version worked or not, and it does work for me.

can you specify what does it look like to you, please? the addon list in the game itself for example?

sounds aren't appearing for me, especially when i shove a zombie (or bot/player)
MusicTron3000  [author] 14 Mar @ 6:34am
good for you, have fun if you can
Nickcreator 13 Mar @ 5:28pm
i love it
MusicTron3000  [author] 10 Mar @ 6:42am
thank you dearly! may I tell you - I like, and use, your Kogasa Tatara addon. mostly because I simply like Kogasa, but my point was, thank you for making it.

ah, I see now. found them. thank you.
Rodan91 4 Mar @ 11:03am
you can use punch02 - F1, punch03 -F2, punch04 - M1, punch05 - M2 from the old official folder
MusicTron3000  [author] 4 Mar @ 10:41am
I appreciate your suggestion. the sound recommended, sounds much more shove-like, obviously. might replace the original l4d2 shove? I suppose it might be a good audio sample to mix, or use as base sound for the shoves... I'll probably use it if I ever plan on tinkering with this addon, OR make an entirely new one. but that might not be anytime soon...
thank you for suggesting.

but also, forgive me for asking... I have failed to find male/female pain sounds anywhere in CTurix's files. how are they called, and where do they reside? is it maybe some newgrounds page I missed blindly?

well anyhow, I should also thank you. for making the Madness Combat pistol SFX, which I'm using currently, albeit halfly, the reload and handling sounds only. it's nice to hear, and feels more thoughtfully made.
Rodan91 3 Mar @ 9:08pm
i'd suggest using the sand_shoveoff from MC11 and the male and female pain sounds (both in CTurix's official madness sounds)
MusicTron3000  [author] 3 Mar @ 4:05pm
glad to hear, thank you.
tootoo roll 3 Mar @ 1:16pm

MusicTron3000  [author] 2 Mar @ 2:09pm
