Not that you need another comment on it, but to anyone downloading this. - I run mostly vanilla with as minimal mods as possible. This mod causes a crash when shooting Zeds, seemingly with any weapon.

Avoid until fixed.

as soon as i try to fire the m60 or m249 the game crashes and sends me back to the main menue...

Soo yaa, wasn't able to get past the "this is were you die" loading screen and a error pops up and a pop-up telling me to find the error on the console.txt. love this mod on build 41. Do hope for it in build 42.

Hi, this mod does not work. i was trying to start a new run and couldnt run it, after activating a large group o mods, eventually i discovered this was the mod causing me te trouble, i dont know what specially does not work, but please review it and try to fix it

in cj_attachments u use capital letters instead of original lower letters

MountOn = CJ_AI_AWP; CJ_M4Carbine; CJ_M82A1; CJ_M249_Para; CJ_SG552_Commando; CJ_SR25; CJ_Hecat,

should be as it initiated in cj_moth_firearms_all.txt
example:
line 3: item cj_wa_2000
line 102: item AssaultRifle

several firearm attachments are missing the description that tells you what guns they can be attached to, the MSR700 MSR788 x2scope x4scope x8scope still spawn aswell despite them being vanilla firearms and attachments. several russian attachments also fit onto western firearms and vice versa

i recommend removing modifying the base sling item to instead of being a gun attachment, being a clothing item that gives an extra slot to carry a rifle/shotgun

Having trouble getting this to work, only magazines are seeming to spawn in gun locations (gun stores, military places), but none of the actual guns accept for sniper rifles and shotguns.

@Pepperoncini That was happend to me before, while using true crawl, maybe it is a bug related to that. If u have this mod...
My advice is when this happends again, lay down aim and while aiming start walking that how i debug the thing

so, i dont know if its the b42 build but when using the M1A (for example) im standing 1 meter away from a zomboid and the reticle is very big still (i have aiming 5) i often have to use 8 shots (aiming to their heads) just to put them down (they take no damage at all) and then finally when they are on the ground i can actually deal damage to them. is this a feature? a b42 bug? this happens with the m16 too and maybe other weapons, shotgun and pistols are fine but just wanted to share my experience

I haven't tried it because I have a maintanence skill of 3 or 4, which may affect the slower rate of weapon degradation.

@fredders So, two things: first, I am not the original author of the mod, I am just a subscriber like you who likes this mod. Since what the original author posted for b42 does not work correctly and there are a lot of bugs, I decided to take care of it myself so that I could play without any problems. I shared my work with the community, and that's all. I only fixed the most serious bugs that ruined the whole gaming experience. Second, I completely agree with the opinion about durability, and I agree with all other opinions about the disadvantages of this modification. If the original author had solutions in the code but didn't finish them, I will finish them.
As for repairs and durability, I hear you. In the original code for this system, almost everything is ready, but it needs some work. So when I have time, I'll figure it out, just not right now.

okay, I got it as soon as this was posted, like a good user i searched, All i found was so called mod conflict talk. after around a month and finally seeing it straight not execute in debug. But recently ish i did see in your discord a very active user lets say, just straight say it hasn't since b42. If u never tried then fair enough.

But like how did u never try? 2 things I like about this mod. the sound, That crack. I think it's spot on and excellent despite others whining about It.

But also the durability is SHIT, I like that too. doesn't take long at all for some to ware down.

@fredders i've never tried to fix weapon in recent time, but i remember, that industrial lube can deal with weapons. I see repair kits and weapon repair magazines in the original developer's code, but I don't have the desire or time to figure it out right now. Maybe a little later I'll restore this part of the mod. I will leave disclaimer about repair system in description

@drekavac Well... I don't quite understand you. Personally, I have no complaints about the developers themselves, although there is a hint of arrogance. People spend their personal time, and not in small amounts, to create modifications and don't get paid for it, so I see no reason to blame them for doing something wrong.

i wish there was some modularity to these mods because nobody wants to create addons with more weapons and shit or the original devs have big noses and gatekeep everything like they've created cure to cancer

@RunYouCleverBoy You can't, Well you couldn't when i last tried it a few months ago. No offence to moth, It's good he's making the effort to keep going. But i REALLY think It should be in the description. They know it doesn't/or didn't work. I spent wayyyy to long tying to figure how and why.

Universal Gun Repair mod was working i last tried.

* Fixed a bug where AS VAL and VSS were too loud and attracted large numbers of zombies. The built-in silencer now works correctly
* Increased the spawn chance of the M82A1

@RunYouCleverBoy It wasn't compatible, but the author of the modification you mentioned made it compatible with the original mod, which was last updated on February 28. There are still a lot of bugs there, which have been fixed in this version of the mod. The original author won't be back anytime soon, so the original mod won't be updated anytime soon. If you want compatibility, ask the author of the mod you mentioned to make it compatible.

Hey for some reason this mod has a bad interaction with debug start options. It crashes to desktop while loading scripts before ever entering the main menu. I don't know if this was already mentioned or not, but I wanted to bring this up just in case.
