nice puzzles
but inside level 'ferry' the connector can also be connected with the blue laser source at the tower.
Ragge Lodbrok 2 Apr @ 11:22am
I liked the view, and I also found all four switches, But what does the blue ray to the tower do?
I heard something open but could not find anything.
Good puzzle, not to hard, but still challenging
PotatoMining 23 Mar @ 2:15am
wonderfully difficult, playing it right now and am enjoying it, thanks for making it!!!!!!
SoundingBites 22 Mar @ 10:55am
Great puzzles, and never too difficult *I loved the view* :steamhappy:
StormyFae 17 Mar @ 8:43am
I loved this. Just challenging enough without being frustrating. Delightful. Please make more!
Gorso 10 Mar @ 12:06pm
Phenomenal! This was my first community puzzle, and I loved it. I'm ashamed at how long the 2nd switch took me to find.
Toaster 8 Mar @ 10:15am
Ferry is doable without attaching and enabling a fan becuase it's possible to get a connector from the ground standing on the platform from the record.

@Nascent Space, Hi, is my solution to Crossed Streams intended? One emitter is useless. Check it, https://youtu.be/CaKkBkeMVdo
Deathwish 3 Mar @ 11:17am
Nice work! I had fun with these puzzles. Loved all your hidden messages :qr: and using a terminal as part of the puzzle to open a gate was a neat idea :terminal: although I didn't realize the hints to solve it were inside the level at first so I just solved it through trial and error :taloslol:
Piers 3 Mar @ 3:39am
I have played exactly one Talos Principle level (this one) and it is probably the best one I have played so far.
LavaSnake 2 Mar @ 4:56pm
I found you can use the reflector from the secret / switch room to cheat at the recorder puzzle. When I was playing through I found that puzzle to be a difficulty spike so I went off and solved the secret. After that I realized I could make the puzzle easier using that reflector and the blue light source on the tower. Otherwise great job on the map!
dogdu 2 Mar @ 2:55pm
Good map, enjoyed it!
Erin Webb 2 Mar @ 2:20pm
Had a great time with this, good stuff <3
Pup 2 Mar @ 11:50am
Appreciate the effort you put into this. Looking forward to what people come up with in the full release.

ps. I spent far too long trying to find switch #2
daniels stevens 2 Mar @ 10:45am
Thanks for making this, it was super fun to get through! Especially a fan of having to complete the poem to unlock a barrier, and lots of fun QR codes to look out for :qr:
Leesil 2 Mar @ 7:17am
Hello! Extra hint buttons are not working on the terminal. It repeats hint without any addinional information.
pumpkinbread [#FixTF2] 1 Mar @ 3:49pm
loved these! :happystar2022: found out all the puzzles were breakable, as that's my specialty in games :steammocking: :jammer: keep up the good work as i hope you expand on this map!

Sky King 1 Mar @ 7:12am
cool!
@TILA 1 Mar @ 2:41am
Nice puzzles. First version's bugs have been ironed out. However the flight to the floating platform for some reason stopped working for me, but that is just a minor thing :taloslol:
Phonetyx 28 Feb @ 5:41pm
Fun puzzles!
Nascent Space  [author] 28 Feb @ 1:55pm
Oh my bad, to anyone asking about the ninth star, its currently in an inaccessible level that is still under construction and accidentally uploaded alongside some bug fixes. Apologies for the mistake
dark_fibre 28 Feb @ 7:41am
Okay, I give up. Give me a hint to the location of the new ninth star. Before or after the 4 star portal?
Acalazan 27 Feb @ 5:58pm
really enjoyed it. the puzzles were'nt mind boggling, but they did the job(although some were breakeble). Love the little messages, and the cake story was hilarious. Definetñy looking forward to more levels :D
ftww 27 Feb @ 3:52pm
I enjoyed these; thank you! Although the puzzle with the cubes and mines is trivial at the moment; presumably the laser needs to be higher? The initial three cubes are enough to block the beam.

Lots of stuff breakable out of puzzles, but this is a good thing; lets people find their own alternative approaches.
MrGutenTag 27 Feb @ 12:23pm
In a lot of the puzzles the button is way too close to the barrier, you can just run right through after standing on them.
colin-java 27 Feb @ 7:22am
Did I do the one section right with the cube on the fan... I just put a connector in the way of a laser to block it, then I grabbed it and jumped on the cube using the 3 seconds I had

Awesome map though, the one with the replay thing took a few tries to get right.

I think they got rid of it in TP2 cause its way too confusing when there are multiple copies of everything and the rules aren't particularly clear, I like the new solution they came up with that switches robots.
MACABRE(CZ) 27 Feb @ 6:14am
Super:steamthumbsup:

For everyone who is confused about Freeline ... check out the website piers.zip
SoundingBites 27 Feb @ 4:45am
Very nice :steamhappy: and finally some good use of the terminal
Thx a lot
卡列宁娜 27 Feb @ 1:51am
OK,I got 4 switches.and what does it mean "check out game freeline"? please help me
puper sidor 26 Feb @ 7:06pm
Really nice puzzles! Also the "beasts" are not mines, "beasts" are just statues! I thought i was genious after i thought it was about mines haha
SmartVenom 26 Feb @ 6:17pm
Nice level! I enjoyed everything. I have a little feedback:

- In the puzzle with all the cubes, the story and the mines I was able to stack all the cubes next to the forcefield and jump from the fan on top of the stack and over the forcefield to get the star. There I was softlocked and had to restart from checkpoint. But you keep the star.
- In the puzzle that is called Crossed Streams I think the intended way is something with crossing the red beams, but I think I broke it by standing in front of the beam that activates the fan and run
towards the cube on the fan and jump on it just before the fan activates.
- For the detective story, the cake is a lie ;)
-Did you mean the mobile racing game Freeline, or Freeline Motion voor Iphone?
Kyle07 26 Feb @ 7:18am
Enjoyed this a lot! :D Had to think a lot, but managed through, when I returned to the puzzles. Just like the regular Talos game. :)

@Hmm? I think this is the intended way, at least I did the same.
Have to admit that I did not read through the hints ingame.
Hmm? 25 Feb @ 10:36pm
Good fun.
Just as a heads up since I'm not sure you are supposed to solve the puzzle this way, but in the puzzle with the recorder you can stand on the edge of the raised platforms in certain spots (where it is lower) and grab the connector from the ground.
Nascent Space  [author] 25 Feb @ 7:22pm
There has been a severe oversight with the cubes 😭
Cap'n Crazy 25 Feb @ 4:27pm
Did you intend for the player to smuggle all the hexahedrons out of the fan puzzle? You can skip half the puzzles by making stairs up to the exposed stars.
JoniMega 25 Feb @ 3:06pm
I got it to the very end as well as the extra. For some reason i was able to fully guess the story without any hints...

But it is extreamly breakable. I was able to get all objects from their respectable puzzles extreamly easly.
Love that one. Reward granted. I can't figure what does this blue switch on the, beg me a pardon here, second tower though. Can't see changes upon activating it
Lasse 25 Feb @ 12:21pm
(And five minutes later I find it. Beware the fifth beast, for it is not the right one!)
Lasse 25 Feb @ 12:15pm
I love the puzzles.

I hate that I cannot find lever #2 near the beast, or anywhere! I've been all over this island quite a few times. Then took a round in Photo Mode. Then ran around again on top of the walls. Not getting desperate or anything.

The boxes are quite easy to exfiltrate, which trivializes two of the other puzzles. (But if someone wants to ruin their own fun, they can always do that.)

Keep it up!
4ello 25 Feb @ 9:20am
Enjoyed the level :D

But I could've enjoyed it more, if The Stanley Parable Adventure Line™ was present here.
MrGutenTag 25 Feb @ 6:22am
Really good, although quite easy, level.

Really thankful for the hints, the secret QR in the dragon was cool to find and having an overview of collectible stars was a great idea.

The puzzle with the boxes didn't require more than the 2 you get at the beginning, though, because the fan pushes them up far enough.

Even though I couldn't pick up the key either, I still managed to get the switch thanks to the boxes allowing me to climb up the walls, because the wall on the left when entering is too far down.

Was also kinda disappointed with the terminal inside the holy room, would have preferred the cake story being in there instead

All in all, however, a great map, and I'm really interested to see further creation of yours!
Nascent Space  [author] 25 Feb @ 6:09am
Thanks for checking it out! I've fixed the issue you mentioned
(:3) 25 Feb @ 4:42am
thanks for the levels. i found them pretty enjoyable to go through. however i was only able to find two of the switches. as i could not interact with the key to pick it up to enter the gated area with one. and just straight up could not locate a fourth. assuming there are four total. all in all though it was a nice experience.
