This can be caused if there are brushes on the map that are not rotated at a right angle.

I'm trying to convert my map

Hey is it possible to render also the materials from the dat file when loading it into a dream because i have converted a map into dat but when i enter the dream with the given dat it only shows the debug or the blackness of hell when debug is disabled so is still in development this idea or is it an glitch from my side?

Example: The SCP-096 nextbot throws you around in the "Dreams".

It's conflicting with Arc9's MW2019 rpg, it just send the rpg model around the map like a balloon. Quite funny, but laggy

Visual and audio, this is with more than one player. when you watch another player fire a weapon with a fast firerate the other player will seem to be firing at an incorrect rate and their bullets will come from the world origin to the impact spot

This seems to be conflicting with arccw's firing origin points, they keep coming from world origin instead of from other players origin.

I need to ask. I dont look over code yet. But do you think it would be possible to have 2 players see each other in dream and interact like pvp in dream?

the immersive portal is actually the doable part, the safe-space part is unfortunately not. The collisions in dreams are held together by duck-tape and won't be able to run physics simulations for props/ents/etc.

Would you ever consider makin' a version of Doors/Safe-Space with this?
It obviously won't have the immersive portal that can see the inside from the outside but it'll work really well on maps that don't have enough room to spawn Safe-Spaces like Mallparking.
(I know there's a Discussion on this but idk if you haven't seen it or just don't want to address it.)

i feel like i would be perfect to have a like bed you can sleep in and once your eyes close fully you go in a random dream that is ether peaceful or liminal maybe just terrifying and in order to exit you must find the bed just a idea

oh good eye, I think it has to do with the player velocity being normalized before speed is applied, so the direction the player is headed in is exactly at a 45 degree angle to the surface when the colliding axis gets set to zero, tested it and the same thing happens when you hit a wall and go up and down

After running "player.GetAll()[1]:SetDream("example")" and when I have cl_showpos set to 1, the velocity it shows is 141.42 when I am on the ground going forward while holding ctrl

If I use to the example dream, then I press w and ctrl on the ground then I go at what appears to be about 100 times the square root of 2 of velocity.
