Just a suggestion.
Half life alyx also have combine weapons that can play an interesting role if the mod is getting updated.
Heres a list that im aware of:
Pulse SMG - Used by dagger units
Pulse AR - Used by cardinal units
Heavy shotgun - Used by wall hammer units
Pulse MG - Used by AB units
Grenade launcher mounted Combine APC

The shields are also interesting, but from what I heard its a bucket of worms to code so yeah...
