I have mad over heating

This boat was obviously designed with love and its amazing, but I do run into a problem where the booms end up getting crossed and you have to respawn the ship. Which definitely ruins a fishing trip :(

How do i turn on the fish radar?
Kladdguy 14 Aug @ 11:19am
This ship casued my game to crash for the first time in 3 years
I FULLBOXED U ツ 6 Aug @ 3:20pm
guys you can just turn the infinite fuel and electricity off and then turn it back on and it works fine
the goat 13 Jul @ 6:52pm
how do i spawn it in, cause it doesnt appear in my workshop vehicles
D4ve b0i 7 Jul @ 9:49am
engine keeps lighting on fire and then going out, can't repair it either because it just does it again.
already tried turning the whole thing off. didn't work.

Love this thing, such an adorable vessel.

How do you go faster than 4 knots tho?
CravenDenic 30 May @ 12:28pm
This thing is awesome. Last night, my buddies and I got bored so we stayed up for 5 hours nonstop running this vessel in all sorts of conditions and it was great. At one point, we started having issues with the stern ballast pumps, but we still made it back to port fine. Awesome ship, I really respect the work you've put into this thing.
Asata 5 May @ 7:25am
@AMR-TRV I have the same thing, only I actually have a lot of water
Asata 5 May @ 7:24am
it floods very badly, the pumps can't cope, I don't use cheats
Hey i have a question, when im sailing for a long time like 2 hours it says theres water in stern or bow bilge while theres no any water. Do you know how to fix it or its just nothing?

best hot sauce ever!
BENZIN  [author] 6 Apr @ 6:45am
turn off inf fuel
Chad Benz 5 Apr @ 8:08am
Why is it that when I start the engine and start sailing at a maximum speed of 5 knots, I don't use endless electricity, how can I solve this???
TonyBeetsDredge 19 Mar @ 9:45am
How do I increase rps?
The Nameless 18 Mar @ 8:31am
Ooookay, it's finally time for me to ask: what exactly do you do to all these pivots to make them help the ship float? I see this all the time and I don't like it, I tend to just delete them, but I would like to understand what's been done to them.

If you don't mind, I'd also like to know what you did to keep the ship from rolling in the waves. It pitches but barely yaws or rolls, which makes it nice and convenient I guess, but feels very unnatural to me.
BENZIN  [author] 16 Mar @ 8:39am
@Blouge that shouldn't really be possible, even when they are full the nets weigh next to nothing compared to the ship itself. Maybe try using higher physics settings?
Blouge 16 Mar @ 8:26am
it's not actually something like that but more the weight that make the ship flip
BENZIN  [author] 16 Mar @ 6:44am
@Blouge sometimes if you sail in shallow waters the nets actually glitch and get trapped under the seafloor and when you try to pull it it just pulls the entire ship into the ocean floor. Try fishing in deep sea, that might help
Blouge 16 Mar @ 6:34am
i have a small issus when i get both net up the ship flip and im not able to empty them :D (do i have miss something)
CitiesSkylinesGod 22 Feb @ 12:57pm
What is the speed of this vessel?
BENZIN  [author] 19 Feb @ 1:44pm
@SerpienteRecia honestly hearing it used in actual gameplay is the biggest compliment ever, I am glad you guys are enjoying it
SerpienteRecia 19 Feb @ 1:23pm
Thanks for answering my question, my buddy and I adore this vessel, we have spent 40 or so hours on it and it's starting to feel like home. Lighting around the boat is on point by the way, and I've called dibs on the bow accomodation, I'm the grease monkey of the crew.
BENZIN  [author] 17 Feb @ 2:15pm
@jacks steam sometimes doesn't update the creations, try unsubscribing and subscribe again

I cant find it no matter what. Im looking and its no different then before? sorry for my stupidty but no matter what its not there? I see everything else but there is no new adons
BENZIN  [author] 17 Feb @ 1:19pm
@jacks it's next to the boom/net controls
jacks 17 Feb @ 12:32pm
How can i use the remote for the fish Gantry? i cant find a remote anywhere on the ship
BENZIN  [author] 17 Feb @ 4:58am
Update: added remote Fish Gantry controller & upgraded the nets
BENZIN  [author] 17 Feb @ 4:57am
Thanks!
StartYaBastard! 16 Feb @ 1:41pm
What a masterpiece, you have truly outdone yourself this time.
BENZIN  [author] 16 Feb @ 3:59am
@SerpienteRecia thanks! The ship is fully sealed and you shouldn't get any bilge accumulating. However during some testing I noticed that when its windy and you get in and out of the ship sometimes the waves hit the open doors and water spill into the engine room, do this enough times and it accumulates water in the engine room. Due to ship rocking back & forth this water sloshes around the engine room and pumps can't reliably pump it out. Certain amount of bilge is alright, as long as your pumps are running it can't get to a critical level.

Bilge system has liquid only filters, air pressure shouldn't be a problem.
SerpienteRecia 16 Feb @ 3:50am
Is there a need to renew air pressure on the bilge system? If so, how?
SerpienteRecia 16 Feb @ 3:42am
First of all, awesome vessel, this type of trawler is exactly what i was looking for. Quick question. Has anyone come across an issue with water accumulating in the stern, somewhere the bilge system can't reach? It's like if water was slowly sipping in through a small crack, I've tried my luck with a blowtorch, but hull seems fine. Halp
BENZIN  [author] 16 Feb @ 2:23am
@X-BestAviation™ go nuts
Michigander 15 Feb @ 4:40pm
can me and my friend put anti air (a few CWIS) on this
BENZIN  [author] 15 Feb @ 1:59pm
@mjs7080 You're right, they were acting anormal. I just updated the ship, tweaked the otterboards. Now they should stay midwater at speeds around 10knot. Also, forget opening nets later, you can extend the nets after otterboard lines pass the distance of 15+ meters.
mjs7080 15 Feb @ 8:48am
I've been following the instructions waiting for the otterboards to go down before opening the nets, and the nets come to the surface just about every time even at slow speeds; Not sure what I'm doing wrong; maybe a few weight blocks on the otterboards might help?
BENZIN  [author] 14 Feb @ 11:17am
@Kebabit there are Net Catch dials that show the current amount of fish you caught. There is two right next to the boom controls and one thats directly in front of the helm
BENZIN  [author] 14 Feb @ 10:13am
@ThereIsNoBean turn off cheats
ThereIsNoBean 14 Feb @ 10:08am
It's probably just a skill issue on my end, but is there a way to get this going faster than 2.5 knots? I couldn't find anything in the bridge or operating guide
BENZIN  [author] 14 Feb @ 5:55am
@Djgmusial not planning on one atm. But I will be releasing a smaller one
Musial Industry's 13 Feb @ 3:37pm
@BENZIN: Hello, will you be making a larger more industrial fishing vessel to reach depths of 300 meters?
BENZIN  [author] 13 Feb @ 2:40am
Update: Upgraded the nets, fixed the speed
BENZIN  [author] 13 Feb @ 1:56am
@jacks Works for me, are you using any cheats? They might cause problems
jacks 12 Feb @ 8:02pm
Yes i click the anchor mags and yet the light never comes on
Justaperson 12 Feb @ 2:14pm
I found that if they do tangle up they often fix themselfs but if you want to be safe then yeah just do it after the otterboards.
BENZIN  [author] 12 Feb @ 2:03pm
Well I thought it was self explanatory but I'll add it to the guide as a final step. You do need to extend the nets after the otterboards get in position otherwise they might tangle up
Justaperson 12 Feb @ 2:00pm
Just fyi the nets are not mentioned in the fishing guide but all you have to do is when extending the otterboards, extend the nets.
