Was curious to ask about this: While it isn't obviously similar to adasdasd's L4D1 styled weapon sounds, I wanted to know if these L4D styled sounds you made/mixed are in stereo like he did for his mod. Was thinking of using your CS:S sounds in place of his (as I feel these sound way better) but wanted to know if they'd be consistent with his stereo sounds

Okay it works, sorry. Idk why, I did use snd_rebuildaudiocache but it didn't work properly the first time

IF you're dragging into your mp5 fire folder yourself it is crucial you use snd_rebuildaudiocache to make the game realize it is there and utilize it correctly

I would first check to make sure your sound quality is set to the maximum setting

I don't know why but it sounds so much better in your preview video than ingame, probably has to do with how the MP5 is weird with how it's setup for sound (research it). It sounds more muffled, the quality isn't as crisp, but it is in your video. I even did the "fix" method by replacing the MP5 sound in the game's main sound file and it still seems to have this muffled quality to it.

Could you maybe update the description with a link to the exact sound file you're using in the video?

hey navaro, i tested this mod out - it appears that the folder you put the .VPK inside, has it's folder named "weapon" instead of "weapons". you forgot to put the last letter which was S in the "weapon" folder.

Same shit with not working

The sounds still don't seem to work, just the default ones for me
