It seems you're the developer now because the original creator didn't put up the mod again...if that's the case i have a suggestion (If you know how to mod)

Can you change the Kingdom of Scandinavia to EMPIRE of Scandinavia? Because the title of the ruler is emperor, not king

seems like the german flag is behaving odd from what the mod used to have. Empire is no longer black-white-red instead black-red-gold. And the council republic is a weird version instead of the GDR flag which the mod used.

@Zack_Attack If you would like some help on maintaining Otto's mod, I would recommend heading to the Vic3 Mod co-op Discord server since that's where many of the seasoned Vic3 modders are.

Otto's mod, to put it very nicely, could've been coded better (especially on how the flags are coded, seasoned flag modders would not do what the mod does for good reasons). The problems on the flags many are experiencing with is because Otto never updated the 'DEFAULT' flags to include the African colonial flags from one of the updates.

@Zack_Attack Well you better learn some coding, since having taken a look at the Otto's mod files the mod might probably break subjects in the future (since the mod is taking the vanilla subject file wholesale)

@TheLeonator I think it's because of the mod but I don't know enough about coding or the mod to really fix anything. It's happening in my game too but I didn't really noticed until you said it tbh hahaha

Is it just me or is this mod broken with flag changes? Somehow, when this mod is active, new nations no longer can get custom flags (like when you release a colonial nation, for example) in my game.

Like for instance when i use the "Establish colonial administration" the subject just keeps its default flag.

I thought first it must be because I have loads of other mods active, but I started up a game with only this. Still the same.

I am on 1.8.6. Deactivating the mod makes it so flag changes happen as intended. I have made sure the correct game option is active. I have tried to remove and re-download the mod. Any idea what may be causing this? Is there some vanilla game file that maybe i unintentionally modified and that is somehow clashing with this mod? ...

@EMKP I took the workshop file and made a copy, after that I made a new mod from it with the Luncher. You don't need to do that for private use, just make a copy and put it in your mod folder in (Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria 3\mod) And pretty sure you're set

does this have dynamic subject flags? As in colonial flags where there's the overlord's flag in the top-left, and there's the region-specific emblem on the right? (like canada)
