Works well on Build 41. Thank you so much for this mod, it singlehandedly saved tailoring for me. I just couldn't bare the look of vanilla patches that just resemble smudges of dirt on player's clothes
Natenoname 22 Jul @ 1:05am
Nothing i was just curious cuz i didn't want to do something weird to happen to my save
Mr. Nehative 20 Jul @ 10:44am
Sweet! If you want to, I can make my version and you can consider adding it. No work for you!
Spike!  [author] 20 Jul @ 8:12am
I might make some extra alternative versions in future, I'm just giving zomboid a break until we get multiplayer, don't wanna get too burnt out!
Mr. Nehative 20 Jul @ 7:05am
Idealy it would be better to have it as an option on the official mod (like the basic and fancy submods), but since theres no objections from you, I'm gonna go do it.
Spike!  [author] 20 Jul @ 7:02am
Sure, go for it :)
Mr. Nehative 20 Jul @ 5:41am
My suggestion of making them black or transparent, if you don't want to do it yourself of course.
Spike!  [author] 20 Jul @ 3:49am
What did you have in mind?
Mr. Nehative 19 Jul @ 2:02pm
Hey can I make a modified version?
Natenoname 18 Jul @ 4:42am
Ok thanks
Spike!  [author] 17 Jul @ 5:25am
it'll prioritise one texture set over the other!
Natenoname 17 Jul @ 3:32am
What happens if you enable both basic and fancy patches?
Mr. Nehative 16 Jul @ 1:08pm
Or with 50% transparency IDK.
Mr. Nehative 16 Jul @ 1:07pm
Make a version where the patches are darker.
MrSmileyincorprated 14 Jul @ 6:39am
you should make different types of colored patches
Spike!  [author] 7 May @ 4:00am
I'd love to make that possible but I possess no coding skills whatsoever, I don't know how possible that is, if someone could figure out how to code that though I'd happily provide the art for it!

It would be a good idea to create different patches depending on tailoring level, for example from level 0 to level 3 all patches will be basic, but from level 3 they will become fancy.
myce_mycologic 7 Apr @ 10:35am
it would be really cool if we could craft patches with like, designs on them and stuff, to personalize yfm?
viperro 17 Mar @ 8:36pm
can we get patches that look more uniform and symmetrical?
Spike!  [author] 25 Feb @ 2:43am
Yup! Perfectly safe! All the mod does is swap some textures, so it won't affect saves at all if you add or remove it mid-playthrough :)
miglup 24 Feb @ 4:48pm
hi is this safe to use on an existing save? cool mod
Spike!  [author] 8 Feb @ 6:01pm
One will just override the other depending on load order. Just pick the one of the two that you prefer!
z0ntir 8 Feb @ 4:41pm
Is it safe to enable fancy and basic at the same time? If not, can I mark one as incompatible with the other?
GarglingGlass 3 Feb @ 4:18pm
I just had to activate it again in my save file (Load>More>Mods), that's all.
Spike!  [author] 2 Feb @ 11:42am
Glad its working now!
F0rtunat3 2 Feb @ 11:27am
hey! it seems like my problem was solved! cool mod!!
Balance 2 Feb @ 6:48am
I'll keep you updated and shoot you a message if i get it working, I can't promise I'll be able to but I'm definitely going to try! :spiffo:
Spike!  [author] 2 Feb @ 6:38am
I'd happily collaborate with you if you do figure it out! I'd love to make that possible!
Balance 2 Feb @ 6:32am
I love the new additions! I'm trying to see if I can figure out how to make them go from basic to fancy based on tailoring level because both textures are fantastic and I don't wanna choose just one lol, I'm not sure how I'd accomplish this yet but in the event I figure it out and it's something you'd like I'd be happy to send the code to you! Regardless keep up the amazing work, I love these type of mods! :spiffo:
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 3:08pm
I think its because I changed the name of the mod folder, so the game thought the mod was missing. Glad its working now though!
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 3:03pm
Odd. I havent changed the mod ID or anything like that. It might be worth uninstalling the mod entirely and reinstalling it? And make sure you're only enabling one version at a time to avoid confusion on the game's end. Sorry for the trouble!
Arthur Dent 1 Feb @ 2:59pm
Don't know what fixed it but messed around with reloading the mods, backing the save up, loading older saves, etc. Works on the current save again.
Mr.Dorito 1 Feb @ 12:51pm
Ok thank you!
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 12:48pm
The difference is in the sewing work! basic ones look messier, while the fancy patches have sewing within the patch. It's perfectly safe to add mid-save I believe, since all this mod is doing is overriding the vanilla patch textures.
Mr.Dorito 1 Feb @ 11:56am
which one is better the fancy one or the basic one? Its because i dont see so much difference, also can this be added mid-save?
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 8:49am
You'll only be able to see one at a time unfortunately, activating both at once will just prioritise one over the other. (Thank you very much <3)
El 1 Feb @ 8:37am
can i activate both fancy and basic ( cool mods btw)
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 6:06am
B41 SHOULD work now. Sorry folks!
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 1:33am
If anyone COULD code that I would happily provide the textures for it!
rawgu 1 Feb @ 12:33am
its ok, the mod is a banger regardless :p
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 12:08am
@UnfortunateBlooper ill take another look! Do try uninstalling and reinstalling it as the mod is now split into multiple mods, I'll get this fixed soon!
Spike!  [author] 1 Feb @ 12:06am
I don't know if it's possible either, I'd love to do that but I don't have the coding skills to try that ;<
rawgu 31 Jan @ 11:37pm
it would be nice if the patches changed from basic on low levels to fancy on higher levels - not sure if thats even possible lmao but great mod <3
F0rtunat3 31 Jan @ 7:06pm
hey i still cant find this in my mod list? idk if this might just be something on m side now though
Spike!  [author] 31 Jan @ 4:43pm
The mod is now B41 compatible folks! (I think, if it's still not working lemme know and I'll get right on that)
GestumStage 31 Jan @ 7:48am
Это все круто конечно, но я когда нибудь найду 1 том tayloring.
Spike!  [author] 31 Jan @ 5:31am
So this mod just replaces the usual glove patch textures with a blank texture. I couldn't really find a decent place to put a patch on the gloves that didn't look really silly on something like the leather gloves. I might revisit this though!
retr0l0gy 31 Jan @ 5:13am
Question before I enable the mod: is there anyway I can renable patches on gloves? I didn't mind them on gloves
alt.session 31 Jan @ 2:31am
yipiee
Spike!  [author] 30 Jan @ 11:30pm
Oops! Lemme correct that. It should work on either build, I'll get the tag updated later today.
