It wouldn't be super easy but you honestly could probably do it by doing something like handling the WeaponAfterAttack event on a part that's attached to every spear.

The game currently doesn't have the UI for multi-ranged melee weapons. It only supports 'bump attacks', basically moving into another cell.

Abilities get around this because they are their own behavior. If I was to add it to the base behavior of the spear, it'd end up touching a lot of code and might mess with too much stuff.

I remember in Graven's Spear mod, Graven considered making them with +1 range, but opted not to due to quote "buggy behavior with attack targeting". How did you get around this? Is it less buggy when tied to an ability like Thrust? Regardless very innovative mod, thank you for your work!
