@cmelendez7813 there's this weapon base that lets you do just that, it's TacRP and it lets you aim the gun at yourself and shoot it

this is just the mask wipe mechanic from metro, so yes, it still makes sense with a visor or something.

can you do this but with blood when you shoot an enemy? and add like a decal on your screen for the dirt and/or blood that disappears when you wipe it off
could be a really cool addon for immersion

Should have a viewpunch just before the animation starts, as if the character is flinching from the debris hitting their face.

I never thought about this before but can you imagine watching someone, with a gun no less, stoically walk up with their face flush to a wall and then shoot it point blank?
Videogames sure are an enigma.

good,but one of the animations could be trying to remove cement particles (or whatever material was shot at) from his face. It would be interesting to see one where he washes blood stains off his face, or one where he puts his hand near his ear because a gun was fired close enough.
