Not that I know of. I've checked the effect again and it still works as intended for me. Though I should note that this mod also replaces explosions from other mods. This is the likely culprit, if not Gredwitch's base. I'll investigate this further and remove that feature if necessary.

is there any other addon conflicts you know of? the explosion still looks different and it produces way more gray smoke. it spawns a bunch of smoke very far away from the explosion as if it was much bigger of an explosion than it actually is.

Should be an addon conflict. The explosions are working and looking as in the gifs for me. If you have Gredwitch's Base installed that's the culprit. I myself had this issue when I had the base installed. This is an issue with Gredwitch's Base unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about that. Though if you don't have Gredwitch's Base I do not know what is causing the issue. Probably still and addon conflict though.

the explosion is nothing like in the gifs. Its a bright as hell flash with no fire and alot more smoke. i uninstalled and it went back to the vanilla hl2 explosion, please fix it

@Jiyū to anzen I tried to make this replace the map explosions but could not without breaking other stuff. Even when I got the map spawned explosions to work it was the default particles instead of this one, and again, broke some other stuff as well.

I believe it is due to map spawned explosions working a bit differently than other explosion types. Either this or I'm really screwing something up.

Anyways, if you have a solution feel free let me know.

Update:

- Dynamites and several other explosive things (including helicopter bombs) now emit this explosion effect as well

- Should replace most of the explosions spawned by custom SWEPs (won't replace if the SWEP uses a custom explosion effect or an explosion type I did not take into account)

- To my knowledge, most if not all of the things that explode should emit this explosion effect

@the I was playing on Gm_C17_Chinatown, the gas station has gas pumps that you can explode.

For some reason, the explosion effect plays at random moments. For example, when a combine soldier throws a grenade, the effect plays the moment he throws it instead of playing when the grenade explodes like it's supposed to. Can you please fix this issue? thanks.

This does not work with map explosions... You can make it so the effect checks if the env_explosion is map spawned and only spawn the explosion effect when it is triggered.

I keep getting this weird effect where the default HL2 explosion will play and then the explosion effect from this addon plays afterwards. Anyone know how to fix that?
