Its very weak and glitchy some times

I agree I really like this Mod I was suggesting that pushing cars might make it so you can go faster and have less issues maybe.

While yes, there are definitely stability issues as others have pointed out, we've just given this a test and are quite happy with it, it's the best coupling we've seen yet.

Welding is a laggy mess, collision coupling tends to not work, electromagnets can't take corners, or, if given the ability to, they freak out, but this? This works enough to pull a few wagons. Not exactly at high speed or very many, but it is so good that it works.

well you could have a engine/locomotive on each side to push in what ever direction you need to help fix the issue of glitching only problem is how to get both to work while being separate vehicles or you could just use the engine/ locomotive to push rather than pull.

I'm sure it's a feat to get this to work but anytime a train gets over a certain speed the entire consist glitches and essentially explodes off the track & a similar thing when trying to coupe middle cars of a long train.

I cant move heavy trains, it glitches out, can you add a way to fix it? and a way to automatically connect them? overall a great mode non the less

Hello! Author, your idea is wonderful, I really liked it, but there is a problem - the clutch does not hold the clutch well, I checked the train and the carriage, the train could not pull out the carriage using the clutch, the clutch was broken, try changing the mod and making the grip stronger

Looks good, basic mechanics good, needs more stiff connections (make it so the couplers don't stretch and magically stay connected when not visually connected)

Perfect mod!

It has some problems when pushing cars instead of pulling but overall its very good mod

very cool but 2 things u should do is make diff couplers (just a diff model with a diff animation) and make it so that the only time it can compress and extend is if its added to a suspension.:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:

Why does this work so well? I am genuinely impressed... Thank you for making actual Trains possible

if you can could you update the mod to withstand higher weight thresholds before it streches the connector? i find that it cant handle medium weight or lots of train carts.

Cool thing! I would suggest some improvements, like automatic coupling upon contact just like IRL
I'd love to see more automatic coupler variants like Scharfenberg or the SA3!

is it possible for you to set a hard limit on compression and give it some centering force when pushed into eachother, because at the moment it seems to struggle when shoving cars and not pulling them?

I know you have been working on this for quite a while, glad to see this on the ws! very well made! I will say, for heavier trains, some of the constants just needed to be increased for this to work properly without extreme separation under high forces (~ 500kN).
