you are an absolute legend, thanks mate. I really appreciate your work

Here, done!

So the issue was the controller "laser to gps" - it is not needed, as stab camera already outputs XYZ coordinates of the laser point.
I also fixed the painting in few places; would love to help you more with that vehicle in general controls and handling but I've been drowning in work lately :steamsad:

I'm sorry for responding so late
I'll fix it in a moment and link it back to you

I have tried many times now to get the radio to work, however I have failed everytime.

this is a vehicle I made specifically to be used in with your land combat mission series and the vehicle ive been trying to fix radios on for the past few days now, if you could take a look at it and attempt to fix it I would be very much thankful.

Oh I got you
So, on the radio module there are two keyboards, one has "frequency" in the name somewhere, that is the "first" keyboard
But before you do that, in the workbench you have to connect one of three devices from this creation - up to you wether you want to use laser/big keyboard/stab camera. Then you toggle the property toggle to XY or XYZ (written next to them) and put it on your vehicle.
Billman Hillman 5 Aug @ 2:01am
thats what Im trying to figure out myself, in the how to use section for the find lost fighter/find radar vehicle it is simply mentioned as ''set the first keyboard to the frequency specified in the mission description''. I am having trouble unbderstanding what is meant by first keyboard, because your example comes with 2 keypads (also how do set wich channel to use, cause it says transmit on channel 1 and 2 but i dont know where to input that (pls help))
A_S_T  [author] 4 Aug @ 7:55pm
It's been so long I actually forgot what any part of this thing look like 😅
Is "the first keyboard" an input on the controller on the laser or on the radio?
Billman Hillman 4 Aug @ 1:08pm
in the laser guide, what do you mean by ''the first keyboard'' ?
A_S_T  [author] 13 May @ 5:52pm
Ok, so it was a mistake in the boolean detecting an error
It will update in a little with a fix, thanks for reporting
SodaDone 13 May @ 5:18pm
did some testing, it doesnt seem to send info properly, i cant get any info pickup on my vehicle a fair bit away
SodaDone 13 May @ 3:28pm
Transmitting in general seems to not work properly, the missions arent completing

Lol I spent the that entire evening working on my own laser and gps system with my buddy. I now know how trigonometry works and a lot more how to code in Lua but I'll make sure to check out the updated version for sure!
A_S_T  [author] 2 Apr @ 4:08pm
Done! Check the updated version and let me know if there are any more questions/issues (:
A_S_T  [author] 2 Apr @ 3:45pm
A keyboard would require to be encoded in composite and connected with XY mode
There are some controllers on workshop that convert physics sensor + laser into GPS
I will add all the possible variants to the vehicle file, that way it'll be easier for everyone
Check back in a little, it will be updated
TDC 2 Apr @ 10:10am
Looking more into how it works and doing tests of my own, I am now realising that the laser point sensor does not work like I thought it did. Please ignore my question lol
TDC 2 Apr @ 9:38am
When transmitting coordinates, do you have to connect a keypad to the XY connection or can you connect a laser point sensor directly to the coordinates input? I read through the comments and read that with a stabilized camera you can connect it directly if you switch the input to XYZ but there was nothing about the laser point sensor.

iirc the full 10000 takes about 2 minutes
If you figure out the controller, you can create a system with multiple antennas that take parts of the diapason and go thru them faster
This creation is just an example to give you an idea of what you need!
m3lizard2 4 Mar @ 3:13pm
never mind, just takes a bit.
m3lizard2 4 Mar @ 3:11pm
How long should it take to find the code?
A_S_T  [author] 21 Feb @ 6:25pm
Thanks, enjoy!
MrZero 21 Feb @ 4:54pm
Thank you for your wonderful work! I had a tool to find active radio frequencies, but there was no simple radio receiver to transmit a specific value)
Reaper57 16 Feb @ 7:15am
your shit doesnt work
greensjmekbj 11 Feb @ 1:09pm
i called artillery but it never came
mdf 6 Feb @ 2:30pm
code never comes up
A_S_T  [author] 25 Jan @ 4:58pm
sure mate dm me on discord please

Jackle 6 25 Jan @ 4:56pm
is there a way to make it for the large keypad?? if so, GUIDE ME.
A_S_T  [author] 25 Jan @ 4:50pm
Oh, there is a composite node in the controller
Rig up a stabilized camera and set the property toggle to X,Y,Z or
connect a keyboard and set the property toggle to X,Y

Aim the camera with the laser on or type in the coordinates with the keyboard, enter the frequency in the small keypad on the radio and flip the "Transmit coordinates" switch.
Jackle 6 25 Jan @ 4:42pm
ok there is a transmit switch and i have typed in the frequency codes in the left panel what about the channels? its 1&2 but where do i put that?
A_S_T  [author] 25 Jan @ 4:21pm
You have to transmit its coordinates, the mission tells you the frequency.
Jackle 6 25 Jan @ 4:19pm
how do i do the container mission? i am doing what the mission is saying and i am next to the container but nothing happens
A_S_T  [author] 21 Jan @ 5:24pm
DM me in discord it'll be the fastest: a_s_t
_creative_name_ 21 Jan @ 5:22pm
How do I do that, if you don't mind explaining?
A_S_T  [author] 21 Jan @ 4:38pm
Connect a composite signal with coordinates to the according logic node, set the frequency on the first keypad, flip the "Transmit coordinates switch" and you should be set
_creative_name_ 21 Jan @ 4:32pm
How do you use it for missions that require you to send coordinates?
A_S_T  [author] 19 Jan @ 5:26am
Just aim with a stabilized camera with the laser enabled!
But before that hook up your composite output from camera to this radio controller in "coordinates" node. Toggle "X,Y,Z" property before spawning the vehicle. Set the frequency to the one specified in the mission text and flip the "Transmit coordinates" on the radio.
Should be working.
20David 19 Jan @ 5:20am
Yeahhh i have no idea how to do that 😔
A_S_T  [author] 18 Jan @ 5:19am
The fuel convoy requires you to send tge coordinates of the trucks
The radio has a "coordinates" composite node, you can plug the stabilized camera output there - that would probably be the easiest way
After that enter the rx frequency in the first keyboard, flip the "transmit coordinates" switch and aim the camera on the trucks
20David 18 Jan @ 5:02am
How can I use this for normal missions like the fuel convoy?
