to fix the ai use bug
猜测问题原因:事件对所有的派系有效,而选项ai是否会选择设置反了
TINarrativeEventTemplate.json
Options 0 getcheat line 126 "AIFavored": true, -> "AIFavored": false,
Options 1 notcheat line 201 "AIFavored": false, -> "AIFavored": true,
1. Find the file. Mine was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1176470\3406942735\TIProjectTemplate.json
2. Open the file with your favorite editor of choice.
3. Replace 'friendlyName' with 'displayName' (without the single quotes)
4. Reload your game.
Boom. Should fix the techs not showing in the UI correctly.
I am re-rolling an Academy campaign right now. Didn't load this mod at start, now enabling it at 8 Nov 2022 to re-test the enabling it late thing.
However the aforementioned 2040s campaign was resistance and none of the AI were using the cheats. I waited about 7 months for that game after game start before I loaded the save with this mod turned on, and that seemed to keep them off the cheats for me. Had to manually spawn the event though
It's pretty obvious when they do
This isn't for credit purposes - the copyright is under "The Contributors..." after all - but to perpetuate the open source work - however small - that went into this. You are allowed to re-upload it and use it as you will, and so is anyone else, as long as you keep the license.
Please add the file called "LICENSE" to your re-upload.
One way to fix this would be to ensure the player has some buff against research stealing, but I couldn't figure out what effect in the game's files does that.
I had to force the project to spawn using the command someone posted below.
So far the cheats have worked for me and I haven't seen a single AI get access to them, as far as I can tell
Every time I've loaded this into a previous, non-modded save, the project never comes up automatically. I have to use the console command to force it.
So, if you do that, maybe the AI won't get the initial project? And therefore not get access to the cheats?
Just spitballing. I think I'm gonna have a little experiment...
giveproject Project_CheatEnabler
and it will give you the completed project. Upon time playing for about a day (i.e. assign councilors and play time), it will give you the rest of the projects. Have fun beating filthy xenos to dust!
1-I refreshed mods
2-CHeat menu appears
3-Enabled the mod
4-REstarted the game.
I dont see a new project labeled Cheat project, or something.
