修复ai使用的bug
to fix the ai use bug

猜测问题原因:事件对所有的派系有效,而选项ai是否会选择设置反了

TINarrativeEventTemplate.json

To fix the display names not showing project you can manually edit the .json file to get the correct display.

1. Find the file. Mine was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1176470\3406942735\TIProjectTemplate.json
2. Open the file with your favorite editor of choice.
3. Replace 'friendlyName' with 'displayName' (without the single quotes)
4. Reload your game.

Boom. Should fix the techs not showing in the UI correctly.

Didn't work. AI researched the projects again. This time I tried adding the projects under missedProjects. We'll see if that works.

AI players get access to do research the cheat research items. You got to edit the save and remove them from the faction researched project and available projects...

I've gotten this into the early 2040s with no CTD issues.

I am re-rolling an Academy campaign right now. Didn't load this mod at start, now enabling it at 8 Nov 2022 to re-test the enabling it late thing.

However the aforementioned 2040s campaign was resistance and none of the AI were using the cheats. I waited about 7 months for that game after game start before I loaded the save with this mod turned on, and that seemed to keep them off the cheats for me. Had to manually spawn the event though

I think the Universal Spaceworks is causing a CTD if you ever manually engage a space battle around a station with one built on it.

Can confirm that AI is stealing cheats, but @strawberrycalypso I have never experienced your crash, have started multiple saves with this mod enabled, and got them all to 2025 with no issues.

This mod is broken. I say this will complete and utter confidence. On exactly 21 August 2023, the game (for me at least) will CTD, regardless of whether or not any research is being finished on that date. Really hope someone can fix this up.

If they are getting them, they sure haven't researched any of them.

It's pretty obvious when they do

Also, I will ask you to update the mod and include the original MIT License in your re-upload. The license clearly states that "The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.". Not including it is a violation of the license.

This isn't for credit purposes - the copyright is under "The Contributors..." after all - but to perpetuate the open source work - however small - that went into this. You are allowed to re-upload it and use it as you will, and so is anyone else, as long as you keep the license.

Please add the file called "LICENSE" to your re-upload.

Hey, the AI is most likely getting the research projects because they're stealing them from the player, using the steal research action.

One way to fix this would be to ensure the player has some buff against research stealing, but I couldn't figure out what effect in the game's files does that.

Update: So far so good. I started a game without this mod, played it for a bit (maybe 6 months in game time?). Then loaded this mod and opened the save.

I had to force the project to spawn using the command someone posted below.

So far the cheats have worked for me and I haven't seen a single AI get access to them, as far as I can tell
pbace12 2 Apr @ 10:30am
What if you start a game without it, play a few months/years, and then load your save with the mod enabled?

Every time I've loaded this into a previous, non-modded save, the project never comes up automatically. I have to use the console command to force it.

So, if you do that, maybe the AI won't get the initial project? And therefore not get access to the cheats?

Just spitballing. I think I'm gonna have a little experiment...
Jarrson 10 Mar @ 1:25pm
Seconding this. Seems like it's not just the components anymore. AI is using all of the cheats.
Moore 8 Mar @ 7:51pm
AI seem to be using the cheats

The Super Councilor only get on, but the research can research many time.

If you aren't getting the Cheat Project on game start, simply type this command in the console:

giveproject Project_CheatEnabler

and it will give you the completed project. Upon time playing for about a day (i.e. assign councilors and play time), it will give you the rest of the projects. Have fun beating filthy xenos to dust!

How do you use this.
1-I refreshed mods
2-CHeat menu appears
3-Enabled the mod
4-REstarted the game.

I dont see a new project labeled Cheat project, or something.
