It may be that the mod is not compatible with the newer B42 builds.

All my mods will be updated and made compatible as soon as a stable version of the game is released.

sounds like a cool mod, imo it'd be cooler if it had a metal detector that you needed to have equipped while using the "search" feature, the metal detector basically just unlocking the ability to "search" for things that are underground

Congratulations on the mod, I hope that when the B42 MP comes out, it becomes compatible. It's a great system for multiplayer. I have a server on B41 and would love to have this mod on the server.

You can already do that; sand and stones are not used as bait but worms. You can find plenty of them with this mod. Have fun!

I assume the issue exists because your bag of soil is full. You can empty it with a right-click and then continue digging.

i just filled 30 sacks with dirt and not once did i get sharped stone, is this just bad luck or?

The mechanism is set to iterate randomly through the items. Even if you set to 100% you will not get always the sharped stone. It would be very bad for immersion😇

i see in the mod file that i can get Sharp Flint Flake also but for some reason i don't get any even if i set % to very high. to 90 or something like that?

I fixed the stone bug and changed the default values so I hope everything (beside the buggy sandbox thing) works now fine for you.
Also I consider to remove the sandbox settings so it will just be a question of luck ^^

If you need to get clay, I have another mod you are able to craft clay, even one for crafting concrete, you might want to check them out if you havent already, I added a new category in the craftig menu "ExtraCraft", you will find the crafting recipe in that category (no debug mode needed).

Moreover, the probability of the sandbox settings is very weird. Even if it is set to 100%, only worms will be effective. Clay will not have a 100% chance of obtaining it just because it is set to 100%.

Found a small bug leading to an error since there is no „Base.Stone“ item in B42. It should be „Base.Stone2“, I‘ll adjust it in an hour when I‘m back home😎

I only used your module to test in debug mode. I found that digging in the soil and sand could not obtain any stones, including blunt stones, dog tags, jewelry, etc. I had not seen them. I adjusted the appearance probability of stones to It's 100% ineffective. Am I doing something wrong?

Interesting idea, maybe for a later state of the mod. For now I will not include funktions from other mods, I will expand the mod with more things to find while digging for now.

Thank you for the hint! I already found the bug, it was an artifact of a testing version of the mod. I removed the artifact since it is not used anymore. Now the small error is gone.

There is a small error when loading into a save. It cant add something to the context menu. I will get the exact error tomorrow if nobody else is faster than me

I like the idea of this. Are you going to add treasure maps maybe? could do them in the form of annotated maps maybe. Hmm, i see there is Ricks MLC T Hunt that does that idea, so scratch it!

Handmade maps

That adds the ability to make a map of your currrent area. I was thinking maybe being able to bury a chest filled with stuff (like a go bag, but burried and safe) and be able to retrieve it later. Like if your base gets ran over, so you hide stuff for later use. That might be a bit hard until they release more tools.

I have some better ideas, but its been a long 26 hours , so after a short 12 hour or so powernap, i wont have plagiarism stuff (which is by mistake).

Ill check it out and do some testing since, if i read right, i can add stu ff to the dig table.

Maybe add a skill, higher the skill, the faster you dig or differnt loot tiers?

Still fighting with the translationing of the Sandbox-Settings, but the rest should work pretty well so far. There will come several updates in the coming days adding more stuff and balancing the mod better. For now it's out for testing, thank you for the feedback 😊
