Can't zoom out very far when using this?
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=350031348&searchtext=all+units
its pretty much the same but way better, sry m8
its self-righteous prats like you that shame gaming communties, and telling the author to gtfo we dont need your kind here? how far from accurate they are, its YOU and your kind that are not wanted here. #you cant polish a turd
sidenote, thank you for adding this in its current form anyway, it extended my gameplay time on CoH exponentially and just gave OKW a bit more versatility for me to play with :)
If this mod was in violation, it would've been taken down over half a year ago. Stay butthurt Bis-Mark and quick greentexting outside of 4chan you faggio.
As you can see, I do not believe I have "fucked up". The only people who have even claimed I have done wrong are you two, and you'll have to forgive me for not accepting your authority on the matter.
Now then, if we assume commander units do = DLC, which is another argument currently left untouched, then if we have another look at the terms: "Mods that grant DLC content must also change the CoH2 game in some way. The sole intent of a mod cannot be to provide users with DLC content for free."
And of course all units are shipped with the main game, they are just disabled. It seems you don't understand how the game actually works. Every person who owns a part of CoH2 has every piece of content ever made by relic. This makes playing against seemingly incompatible versions possible in the first place. E.g. P1 only ahving Ardenne Assault can play against P2 who only has the base CoH.
Also thing being "free" though a system relic designed is something different than taking the content and making it available right here and now...
Not only the commanders are DLC content, but everything that is locked behind a "play" wall, i.e. the player needs to unlock it a) via moneyz or b) via play time.
Each and everyhing that is locked by either a) or b) falls under relics ToS, which states that they ahve no problem with using the locked content, BUT you have to make significant(!) changes to the game (e.g. using the units in a completely new faction) to justify their use.
Making them available and then tweaking something in the balance just does not fall under the right of "fair use" (for a lack of better wording)
> Uses friend list to make pointles ad hominem arguments instead of accepting he fucked up
Yeah well. You apparently cannot into reasoning. Just take your shitty mod and gtfo. We don't need your kind here.
I hope you learn how to actually care about modifications and stop flooding the workshop with mindless dribble in the meantime. Take care.
I reported you for clearly breaking the ToS.
-Individual Units =/= DLC content. They are shipped with the standard game, the files are all there, and you can even play with them without having the commanders they come in via the decrewing system.
-This does not give people commanders to use, which are the actual DLC content.
-Almost all commanders are available for free through war spoils anyway.
-Gameplay is not the same, sole intent is not to provide DLC for free, etc., see below + description.
Anyway, to be frank, I don't particularly care about this. Yes, time was spent tweaking units costs etc. so it was not negligible work, but it's nothing to be proud of. So if you want, you can report this, you seem to like being a mini-mod, and we can see what happens. You might wanna go report the other tuning pack on here that adds units to the base buildings too while you're at it. That one has even more subscribers than this one, you should love it.
I would recommend differentiating the untis themselves in abilities in roles, as that is actually the definition that makes them "Unique" and thus untouchable so to speak.
"Mods that grant DLC content must also change the CoH2 game in some way. The sole intent of a mod cannot be to provide users with DLC content for free."
If you want to act like you're a saint go for it. But the reality is you haven't actually made any of the DLC content unique when you moved it. All you've done is now offered it to everyone for free.
In hindsight, you probably referred to these instead yes? http://blogs.companyofheroes.com/2015/03/25/a-word-about-modding-our-rules-and-guidelines/
If you did mean the latter, then please re-read said rules and then re-read my first reply to you - I had already adequately explained how this does not actually grant DLC content for free - this does not grant commanders after all, it is a tuning pack that alters the game and therefore how it plays. It is worth noting that as a result, this does grant new tactics and playstyles - for example, with this a player can simultaneously use an Easy Eight, a Bulldozer Sherman, and a Priest, for example, which is a feat not possible as standard without stealing 2 other friendly players' decrewed vehicles.
You should probably take this down before they shut it down. Simple as that.
Kind regards
I check to day with my friend
Wat is the process to delete the mod?
