Really fantastic mod, dude! Just wanna ask could it possible to add something to make all the unique buildings (such as the repairing station ,88 mm cannon in Germany faction etc.,which requires certain commander to unlock)available in the game. This is the most useful mod I have ever seen ,thx again!:steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

I agree with Cheesus. I mean this mod were among the best. But the units of USA a major problem:steamthumbsup
Cheesus-_-Crust 1 Aug, 2022 @ 12:05am
Hands down the dumbest mod i played. when you play as USA even if you set your factory way point outside and near the other entries,. all USA vehicles including Ambulance spawn INSIDE the Base and get stuck inside that Circle that is USA base....

really the worst

update please!
Super Mean Agent 26 Nov, 2015 @ 8:01pm
update? please?
TaeKwonDodo 20 Nov, 2015 @ 4:13pm
The gamemode MAYBE. But I think it's more or less the update shit. But thanks for the answer, Sabre-aN. :)
Sabre-aN  [author] 20 Nov, 2015 @ 4:02pm
@ TaeKwonDodo @ IceBangerBas Well I stopped supporting this a while ago, and I wouldn't actually know how to fix that if that is an issue anyway. Are you sure it's not the map / gamemode's fault? Admittedly I haven't used this tuning pack in a long time though so I suppose a CoH2 update could have broken it.
Sabre-aN  [author] 20 Nov, 2015 @ 3:48pm
@ STF » Bryan I actually made this first - check the posted dates. I stopped working on this quite a long time ago though
Bryan got skill? 16 Nov, 2015 @ 11:16pm
why do you even made this mod?

its pretty much the same but way better, sry m8

Yes, IceBAngerBas is right! I noticed that too and it's very annoying.

please fix US spawn point - units spawn within the base and cant get out

wow i just scrolled back through some of the comments here, particularly from Bis-Mark and Holo: the not so wise wolf and i couldnt stop laughing, what a pair of prats they must be, and how stupid do they feel seeing this mod still here, still extremely popular and also nowhere near as OP as a number of other mods here, wish i had seen these comments here earlier, what a pair of ninnies, egg on your face much girls?? and saying he f***ed up, clearly it was you clowns that f***ed up, how embarrassing :P

its self-righteous prats like you that shame gaming communties, and telling the author to gtfo we dont need your kind here? how far from accurate they are, its YOU and your kind that are not wanted here. #you cant polish a turd
Reggie 1 Sep, 2015 @ 6:45pm
not sure if the author is still around? if so and he reads this, is there any posibility at all that you could add tank crews to this mod, i end up switching my games between this mod and the tank crew one as i dont like the 98 units added mod as it just makes A.I. arty/airstrikes even more OP, if you could add tank crews to this mod particularly for OKW this would be the one and only perfect mod for me.

sidenote, thank you for adding this in its current form anyway, it extended my gameplay time on CoH exponentially and just gave OKW a bit more versatility for me to play with :)

alright sir
Sabre-aN  [author] 18 May, 2015 @ 7:00am
@ Seanshultze Sorry, I don't have this mirrored anywhere. Surely the workshop subscribe button is sufficient? Just subscribe and then select it in a custom match via the option to use a tuning pack.

Sabre-aN.......can give me a download link that was not in steam thanks
Shneebly 13 May, 2015 @ 1:49pm
All the unit items in this are freely obtained in the game normally through gameplay, and can only be used in Custom game, not ranked, not automatch. This mod is within the ToS agreement and I appreciate the modder making this.
If this mod was in violation, it would've been taken down over half a year ago. Stay butthurt Bis-Mark and quick greentexting outside of 4chan you faggio.:unicorn:
Marshemelow 5 May, 2015 @ 5:58am
good mod
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 2:14pm
@ Bis-Mark If someone who actually worked with Relic on the moderation team wanted this taken down, that would be the final word, and I'd be happy to take this down, you see. But until then, it appears to be open to interpretation. Which is why the report function is there, which you have already used, so answers will hopefully come soon enough.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 2:09pm
@ Bis-Mark Your interpretation of this is where our little altercation seems to have arisen from, initially anyway. Unfortunately, without express clarification from Relic, it is a matter of opinion for the time being. It is worth noting though, that if your interpretation is indeed the correct one, and that each unit included in a commander must be extensively reworked, then this would not be the only guilty tuning pack on this workshop. If this is a new revelation, then I would hope the action taken would be fairly dispensed to all these other tuning packs. Otherwise, it's a case of double standards, and that really would be unfair.

As you can see, I do not believe I have "fucked up". The only people who have even claimed I have done wrong are you two, and you'll have to forgive me for not accepting your authority on the matter.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 2:07pm
@ Bis-Mark You will see that nowhere does it say "significant", nowhere does it mention including them in a new faction, nowhere does it mention units, and so on. It merely asks that the CoH2 game is changed in some way, and that the sole intent of a mod cannot be to provide users with DLC content for free. Both of those requests are fulfilled here. Now, you could argue that what constitutes as "change" is open to interpretation. How much change? What kind of change? How can you quantify said change and draw a line? Even "DLC content" could be interpreted in a few ways, as it has been, but again that's another argument. Even so, as it never mentions units, and simply requests that it "must change the CoH2 game in some way", I would say it is fair to interpret this as a change in gameplay. The Mod's gameplay must not be the same as it would be with whatever DLC is included, and nothing else. And this mod satisfies this - it is not a stock port of the commanders.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 2:06pm
@ Bis-Mark Of course I know how the game allows players with different parts of CoH to play together - I used the fact that the content is shipped as one of my points! The content is not "disabled", per say, the call in units are all there, it is the method of summoning them, the commanders, that is how they are restricted, and of course the mod tools currently do not have any support for them.

Now then, if we assume commander units do = DLC, which is another argument currently left untouched, then if we have another look at the terms: "Mods that grant DLC content must also change the CoH2 game in some way. The sole intent of a mod cannot be to provide users with DLC content for free."
Bis-Mark 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:38pm
@Sabre-aN 1/2
And of course all units are shipped with the main game, they are just disabled. It seems you don't understand how the game actually works. Every person who owns a part of CoH2 has every piece of content ever made by relic. This makes playing against seemingly incompatible versions possible in the first place. E.g. P1 only ahving Ardenne Assault can play against P2 who only has the base CoH.
Bis-Mark 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:37pm
@Sabre-aN 2/2

Also thing being "free" though a system relic designed is something different than taking the content and making it available right here and now...
Not only the commanders are DLC content, but everything that is locked behind a "play" wall, i.e. the player needs to unlock it a) via moneyz or b) via play time.
Each and everyhing that is locked by either a) or b) falls under relics ToS, which states that they ahve no problem with using the locked content, BUT you have to make significant(!) changes to the game (e.g. using the units in a completely new faction) to justify their use.
Making them available and then tweaking something in the balance just does not fall under the right of "fair use" (for a lack of better wording)
Bis-Mark 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:31pm
@Sabre-aN Seeming how you don'T want to keep this civilised... *sigh* *4chan mode activated*

> Uses friend list to make pointles ad hominem arguments instead of accepting he fucked up

Yeah well. You apparently cannot into reasoning. Just take your shitty mod and gtfo. We don't need your kind here.

Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:25pm
@ Ga-In I have not "flooded the workshop with mindless dribble", I can't even see how one could make such an accusation, and so far there has been no flaming, neither one of us has insulted the other. Please, post your over 100 character post, I am interested to see your reasoning - you can split it up into more than one comment, you did so earlier after all.
JudgeAlfred 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:18pm
@Sabre-aN - I have a post, it is sadly well over 1000 characters. This is seemingly a flame war at this point so I simply forwarded the report and we'll let it figure itself out.

I hope you learn how to actually care about modifications and stop flooding the workshop with mindless dribble in the meantime. Take care.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:14pm
@ Bis-Mark Fair enough, we'll see where this goes. If this goes down, then it's a fair cop. Interesting to see that @ Ga-In is on your friends list though. Can't do her own dirty work I guess. And still no actual adressing of my points, I guess I was wasting my time trying to have a reasoned argument.
Bis-Mark 27 Apr, 2015 @ 1:06pm
@Sabre-aN This mod is clearly in violation of Relics ToS. Simply throwing units in and tweaking some of the costs does not make it leagal. It has to be something much more diverse from the original game.

I reported you for clearly breaking the ToS.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 12:12pm
@ Sabre-aN If you do still believe you're right though, and do continue on the warpath, I would appreciate it if you'd at least address these points, some of which I have paraphrased from earlier so that maybe you'll argue against them now that they're easier to read:

-Individual Units =/= DLC content. They are shipped with the standard game, the files are all there, and you can even play with them without having the commanders they come in via the decrewing system.
-This does not give people commanders to use, which are the actual DLC content.
-Almost all commanders are available for free through war spoils anyway.
-Gameplay is not the same, sole intent is not to provide DLC for free, etc., see below + description.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 11:35am
@ Ga-In I agree, there is simply a difference in opinion here. You believe adding units as buildables to the base buildings = free DLC for reasons you are yet to explain, I do not for the reasons I have stated. The sole intent of this mod was never "...to provide users with DLC content for free", it was to reduce the effect that commanders have on gameplay, as the description says.

Anyway, to be frank, I don't particularly care about this. Yes, time was spent tweaking units costs etc. so it was not negligible work, but it's nothing to be proud of. So if you want, you can report this, you seem to like being a mini-mod, and we can see what happens. You might wanna go report the other tuning pack on here that adds units to the base buildings too while you're at it. That one has even more subscribers than this one, you should love it.
JudgeAlfred 27 Apr, 2015 @ 10:46am
@Sabre-aN - It's almost pointless regardless, as we are simply at an impass of opinions. I digress, as either way you'll find out when an individual reports you. All the best with your mod regardless.

I would recommend differentiating the untis themselves in abilities in roles, as that is actually the definition that makes them "Unique" and thus untouchable so to speak.
JudgeAlfred 27 Apr, 2015 @ 10:39am
@Sabre-aN -

"Mods that grant DLC content must also change the CoH2 game in some way. The sole intent of a mod cannot be to provide users with DLC content for free."

If you want to act like you're a saint go for it. But the reality is you haven't actually made any of the DLC content unique when you moved it. All you've done is now offered it to everyone for free.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 6:42am
@ Ga-In Ah, I should probably clarify by the way - the last comment assumed you were referring to these terms: http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/

In hindsight, you probably referred to these instead yes? http://blogs.companyofheroes.com/2015/03/25/a-word-about-modding-our-rules-and-guidelines/

If you did mean the latter, then please re-read said rules and then re-read my first reply to you - I had already adequately explained how this does not actually grant DLC content for free - this does not grant commanders after all, it is a tuning pack that alters the game and therefore how it plays. It is worth noting that as a result, this does grant new tactics and playstyles - for example, with this a player can simultaneously use an Easy Eight, a Bulldozer Sherman, and a Priest, for example, which is a feat not possible as standard without stealing 2 other friendly players' decrewed vehicles.
Sabre-aN  [author] 27 Apr, 2015 @ 4:27am
@ Ga-In Care to tell me which ones then? At a glance the only one I can see you talking about is 6D, but then you could argue every CoH2 mod on here breaks that if this one does as every mod has to use the game's content to some extent, and that would clearly be ridiculous. If you can persuade me that I'm in the wrong, then sure, I'll take this down - but for the time being you didn't address my earlier points, have not provided any reference, and in all the 26,295 users none have taken issue and this mod has never been approached for removal despite it being up since last December, and having been on the front page for a few days not long after.
JudgeAlfred 26 Apr, 2015 @ 7:01pm
@Sabre-aN - I feel like you didn't read the terms of service to begin with, as it is in clear violation of several of the rules stated on there.
Sabre-aN  [author] 26 Apr, 2015 @ 2:29pm
@ Ga-In If it was actually DLC content only, I would agree with you and would never have made it in the first place. However, the 'War Spoils' service means all the units in this can still be gotten for free - it just takes time. So I would disagree. Plus, if we want to get very nitpicky, I haven't technically included anything that you don't get with the base game anyway - in fact because of the way the mod tools work that is actually impossible - all the unit files are there as standard, that's why you can play multiplayer with people with different commanders. The only way it really would be fully unmodified is if I was literally giving commanders to people's steam profiles for free - and this does not do that, it is a tuning pack that adds units into the base teching system, and you can't take that into public games, automatch etc.
JudgeAlfred 26 Apr, 2015 @ 4:55am
You should be aware that as this modification seemingly does nothing to the units whatsoever other than making DLC content free, it's breaking the terms of service outlined by Relic.

You should probably take this down before they shut it down. Simple as that.

How do I start the mod on my game? I can't figure it out.. Is there someone who can help me?? The steam programm tells me i have got a subscription..

I check to day with my friend
Sabre-aN  [author] 30 Dec, 2014 @ 10:21am
@ john Launch CoH2, and then from the main menu on the left, click 'workshop' to go to a list of your installed workshop addons. Then click on this mod. There should be an 'unsubscribe' button. Click that. Then, a 'delete' button should become available next to it.Click that. The mod is then deleted. Then restart CoH2 and resubscribe, and hopefully if you both do that everything should be fine. Of course your menu will be in French I assume so the button names may not be the exact translations, I wouldn't know. Hopefully this works for you.
john 30 Dec, 2014 @ 9:53am
Thx so much Sabrean !
Wat is the process to delete the mod?
Sabre-aN  [author] 29 Dec, 2014 @ 11:53am
@ john So the problem is that somehow you've ended up with different versions of this mod which means you can't play it together. So you two should probably try redownloading the mod by going to the workshop screen on your CoH2 main menu, then unsubscribing from this mod, then deleting it. Then restart CoH2 to be safe and then resubscribe to this mod via this page. In theory you should then both get identical versions of this mod and therefore the issue should hopefully go away.
