reloaded the game and the zombies became curled up balls, just now reinstalled W1 and Bandits for good measure, now all nude zombies are nude NPC's lol

ummm, for some reason, on day four a massive ball of nude zombies spawns somewhere, lagspiking my computer; yes my mod is force updated. Is this supposed to happen?

@Jeb You can set the Knox Event to 10 Years if you want in the Sandbox Options if you want only play with Humans

Haven't played since the airliner addition. Just survived the first week in Raven's Creek map. Total chaos the last few days. Thankfully I had a drug mod so I could take lots of speed. No safe place to sleep :D

@:3 Yee, toggle on/off, or how many days after start to NPC reanimation into zombie would be great improvement for some gameplay types, but the mod is still great!

Is there a way to stop the sensible citizens of Kentucky from killing me with pickaxes over a minor inconvenience? Kind of annoying when I'm trying to get my shit straight and get clusterfucked by 27 NPCs because I honked at a guy standing in the middle of the street?

YES THANK YOU! this is exactly what this mod needed imo, its pretty perfect rn - while I appreciate the effort of modeling and programming the various events and putting in the jets and planes, its still nice to be able to toggle those on and off for different playthroughs

now if it would only be possible to add a toggle for the reanimation, so that it doesn't start happening on day 1 but maybe 4, 5, or 6 or something like that

I also want to thank the author for adding the sandbox options. This is the best update, because player can configure his adventure in week one mod the way he wants. So thank you.

thank you for adding the ability to toggle the plane and other events. I'm still having the issue where my spawn house isn't being marked as 'my house', causing people to spawn into and take it over seconds after I leave but the ability to toggle those world events at my leisure is nice.

Я сначала думал это я как-то сломал мод а сейчас понял что это сам мод такой. Тоесть у меня на второй день нпс после смерти через некоторое время становились зомби и военные чаще стали ходить, самолёт к счастью у меня пока не падал. Но хотелось бы исправить чтобы самолёт не падал прямо на меня.

Hey dev please disable people reanimating on day one or at least allow us to go back to the old behaviour where they would slowly die of sickness before turning

Great mod as a concept but could shine more if some more sandboxing options were added by default. Back in the day it used to have customization options for each group. Now you have to add a spin-off mod which suffers some tooltip issues.
Not the end of the world, and I get it we're still in B42 beta-ish stages but hey, the more (refined/customizable), the merrier.

This mod would be great, if it actually did what it needed to.

Countless times, i have died to a random spawn of bikers on top of bandits, and on top of a suicide bomber. These are neat additions to the mod of course but when they are constantly spawning in and at a crazy rate (I did not mess with the sandbox settings either)

It definitely needs a lot of work still

Exactly, now it's just NPCs with normal zomboid. Before it would be a few days where it was just normal life, getting worse and worse until mayhem breaks out when the first zombies start to appear and reanimate. That charm and fun is lost now.

The Mod used to be good, but with all the posts I'm reading and experiencing it myself it's a no for now. Mostly about how I feel like my freedom is taken away when I'm forced into situations like killing someone with a car when I didn't even do it, and the whole airplane dropping on my head no matter where I go. Oh and being spawned into homes where it's hostiles or it's the party event. I loved the mod during January-May but it's just not hitting the same anymore

I'm having problems with the mod on Linux. I only have Week One and Bandits v2 activated, and after spawning on the map, there is no starting money. There is also no home icon. I can take things from any shop without the NPCs having a problem with it. There are over 50 error messages at the bottom right. Do you know what could be causing this?

Great mod, has its ups and downs and performance isn't great but generally improves as the days go past day 7, but the plane crash, crashes to desktop. Come back then dead. Kinda sucks because you don't die because of mistakes or bad plans or just taking the wrong corner packing to much gear, but simply because a auto lock missile nukes your PC.

Still enjoy the mod though, but will probably disable the Plane Crash event.

Why has he railroaded the mod now? It used to be random. You would have 1 week and the world would slowly crumble, on day 3-4 people would start to reanimate and it was so cool seeing people get progressively sicker before dying and then turning. Now they just reanimate instantly if they die which is so boring. It's literally just zomboid with NPCs now. Not 1 week before.

It is a really cool mod, great in concept. There is obviously some bugs though, annoyingly, people invading your house in the early days. Don't try and defend yourself, the army will come and F you up!

I canot spawn in the house like in vanilla game. Its always party, hangower, car crash. Pls fix this or add the option to choose spawn!

stuttering is crazy at the moment after a day or so - but feel like it started since 42.11 and I'm aware there's something about large numbers of items in 42.11 causing stuttering I think? Anyone else having this/ are we just hoping 42.12 fixes it? Or did it get fixed and the stuttering could be from something else?

I've noticed closing the game when it gets really bad and re-opening it fixes it for 5-10 minutes, so it's like leaking memory or something else that builds up over time

No no it is configurable, many options like making bandits amount minimal or none at all. But the gripe I personally have with this, is that the author forbid options like disabling bombs and such

had 2 solid runs nut after the last patch it wont allow me to plumb in a sink after placing it in basement and fallout keeps killing me in the basement aswell

The "people" in this mod are just cardboards: there is absolutely no difference between police officers, paramedics and millitary guys they all just ignore you until you attack them. I want to like this mod because the premise is very cool but it just completely s hit s the bed in my opinion.:deadrat:

Was enjoying this mod, until day 4 or 5 (?) when my sfaehouse gets continuously pumelled by waves of aggressive bandits first thing after dawn (zero interactions with bandits prior to this). Best ive managed to kill is about 20 b4 sucumbing to gunfire...,

This mod is the best mod ever for this game, but the author gave such bad options for player configuration it's atrocious! How can I start a game with a car without a tire, and I can't even replace it because it can't be pumped, only replaced, in the middle of nowhere. Or why can't we configure nukes or airstikes, whether we want them or not. Some of the choices are some dumb and this has so much potential. And why don't we get home in all starts, it's so deeply stupid!

I have been having a lot of frame drops, games stuttering and slowing down randomly and even freezing and crashing a few times. Only have the week one and bandits mod on. With mods off I do not have this problem. I haven't played for a few months and just came back to play a couple days ago, updated both mods and now am having this problem. Last time I played before this I had no problems with your mods. Also when I leave my house and just go out to the street several npcs keep spawning in my house. Any ideas to help with the frame drops? I have turned a lot of things down and it does not help. Anyways still love this mod and think it's the best! Thanks!

"Tremendous amount of time and patience" nag screen gone - bye bye ego driven 'artsy' devs you have been replaced by mod AI... by the way if you get the hot load Lua code and set up your classpath to inject custom jars you can do some really amazing stuff like hooking up talk to chatbots

Honestly mod performance isn't that bad doe - its mostly due to b42 physics engine from what I have tested so if you don't like the lag get a better cpu or disable the new physics stuff. Its not the mod - with the code optimizations in the Lua Claude Code made though can have a lot more cars driving and NPCs running around. I'd post some results from scaling in the config but yall sort of lame and I doubt will bother much downloading mods any more at all from creators when Claude makes them to spec
