The beginning is awesome! The weapons are seriously cool! The new enemies are also pretty cool, very meaty and deadly! The impact of weapons and enemy hits is also top-notch! The new levels are also quite interesting to play through and the modified NETRICSA with new lore tables also counts and a pretty interesting move was made to add side quests (AKA Serious Sam 4).
However, your mod does have some flaws... The new levels are cool! But when they literally go on for two hours or so and you're being attacked by TONS of enemies, it becomes very tiring. Sometimes it happens, although no... On many of the new levels, the lag was incredibly severe (sometimes down to 10 FPS), so the new maps need some better optimization.
Genius pain level. Tooo much place for walk. Too much enemies. But.. that fog room. Where i should find some switch to open door. Who is genius created that fog room? You think is funny to killing and killing 1000 kleers? in small fog corridors? I also tried to run and skip all enemies. But NO! DOOR NOT OPEN, PROBABLY I SHOULD KILL EVERYONE
how about to skip all this Campaign? Sounds more better. I do not recommend play on this. Especially in single player on high difficulty.
Tried to complete on Master difficulty. But hell nah. im not gonna finish this. Waste of time. very big long maps. Always running running through many km with freaky sprint. Some enemies are pain in ass. Over too much enemies.
Firstly, level Temple of Ptah pissed me off, which i can't beat on Serious difficulty, because small room had a too much enemies. But i completed that level on Master difficulty without big problems bruh... of course, not too much enemies was.
That's my experience for now, i haven't completed it yet, but overall, mappack is good, fun and refreshing to Sam veterans who played this game many times.
Because i mean hold that button, not a hitting.
Got to ask though, the Challenge of Insight in Ptah with the platforms and the spike ceiling; how do you actually do it?
I'm trying to go the only possible way, but the gap between two platforms seems too wide to cross. I don't remember what it was like in the original, but I know I did that one without cheating.
And for two playthroughs I checked to see the answer, they both seemed to have a sprint mod on, so that doesn't really help.
- Find a lever near the Rocket Launcher (ASSHDR Exclusive - Secret 05). Instead of Cannonballs like in ASSHDR though, it launches Erasergun Bolts instead.
- +100 Armor above where you find the Tommygun. Secret 01.
- Destroy all statues to access a teleport to take you near to the Level Exit to Moon Mountains. Secrets 02 - 04.
Don't remember so much recoil in ss4 when you hold only 1 minigun(even with non-stop firing), most of the time it's still useful in long distances, but here it's just bad most of the time even on middle distance(feels like low damage, even for kleers) and i have to use thompson even for dealing with harpies(so tough).
What difficulty is this?
